The old woman that owns this place is extremely nasty. I brought my widowed aunt there to find some items needed for her living space as she is on fixed income. We found a few things but they were detective and or marred. When we asked for a small percentage off the price of a stained mattress cover, she literally ripped it out of my disabled aunts arms. She then tossed it on the floor and said "I'm not selling it anymore". Wow, should have been our first clue to leave. But, there were a few more things perhaps worth checking out. So, we did find a few other items we figured we could make do with. We then asked her if we took all 3 items, would she give us a small 5% off? Is asking for a deal uncouth or insulting these days!? The owner got enraged, literally chased us out the door and started filming us with her phone. I'm wondering if we should have just tossed money at her so she could get to the drug store and fill her meds? Or, perhaps to use towards a desperately needed exorcism. Poor thing we will pray for her but we won't be back for the abuse or high prices. FYI, found the same goods at the big box stores in West Branch. Buyer...

Cute little gift shop. Found shot glasses & ornaments with Houghton lake and Higgins lake on them. There were lots of fall and Halloween gift & house decorative items. Friendly lady, I assumed was the owner, at cash register. I recommend giving Knitty Gritty Treasures...
