Doug's A/C & Heating, LLC — Local services in Rosepine

I do not recommend Doug's A/C for use. He came out to my house last week and put 3lbs of Freon in my HVAC. Sunday my system froze up and has been 80 degrees in my house since then. I called him this morning and asked him if he checked my system for leaks. He said yes and that I needed to replace the evaporator coil. I asked him why he did not say anything about this last week when he checked my system out. He said he has never worked on my system before last week... Not sure what that has to do with anything what so ever. He proceeded to tell me that he didn't actually check my entire system from in the attic to the outside unit, but the evaporator needs to be replaced, but its hot out so he won't do it during the summer... He put Freon in my HVAC knowing it has a leak, didn't tell me it had a leak, didn't identify completely what was wrong and give me an estimate on what it will cost to replace/repair, and told me that it is understood that it has a leak if it's low in Freon... Maybe this quality of service gets him by with a lot of people not knowing anything about HVAC systems, but this is just all around ridiculous. Without coming to look at my system to identify if it has anymore leaks, which he didn't do the first time, he want's me to now pull the serial# and model# and call him back so he can give me an estimate. Mr Doug SAVED US! We had Cajun air come out and give us a brand new hvac system from top to bottom. They used all incompatible parts that wouldn’t let us register our hvac system for a warranty. Mr Doug let us know what all was done incorrectly and changed all the parts out and got us our 10 year warranty! He was a life saver, was honest, worked quickly and extremely professional! I will use him and recommend him to everyone! We had no idea we were being done so wrong! Our brand new hvac system’s motor went out on our AC condenser after only a month after cabin air had installed it. we couldn’t get Cajun air to come out to fix it and had waited a month for them to come. They never would show up so that’s why we called Mr Doug. Thank GOD he came, he found all of our coil, valve and furnace were incompatible with our AC condenser and the parts were a year and half older than our AC condenser! Be smart, get mr Doug’s AC & heating to do all your jobs, NOT CAJUN AIR! So very thankful for the GOD...

I really appreciate how quickly Doug responds to his service calls. You can literally message him on messenger instead of having to call him on the phone and he will respond promptly. Even if he can’t get to you right away, he Will let you know exactly when he can get to you and has always been on time and very prompt. We just recently had to replace our 5 ton unit and I had another appointment that day, I was completely able to trust them to lock up when they were finished and they cleaned up everything as if no one had ever been there.
