Rolling Audio — Local services in Roseville

DO NOT be alarmed when Rolling audio blows your mind. It’s how they roll.

This all started when I got a window tint ticket. My boyfriend took the tint off, and had the stereo on for entertainment. My car died. He then proceeded to jump my car battery. The car lights dimmed...my engine was smoking... and I watched the cables melt. I insisted that maybe he had switched the cables. “Babe, do you know HOW MANY CARS I HAVE JUMPED IN MY LIFE?” he replied. Being the supportive girlfriend I am, I shut up.

The next day I drive to work.....45 minutes of sheer noiseless insanity. I tend to shrivel up and kind of get weird without music, You understand. I took my car to a local audio shop in Auburn (not naming any names...but fortunately they BOTH suck.) B, said putting a double din stereo in my car was impossible. I told him to do his research. He texted me the next day to confirm the spelling of my email, and also had the NERVE to ask if my little sister was single! Yeah...no. He gave me a quote totaling over $1200.00, and his solution was to construct a new dash. I drive a Lincoln. Again...no.

Luckily, I was referred to Rolling Audio. I called and spoke with Neil, he recommend I drop by. I stopped in, he measured my dash, and got me a quote, and an appointment in less than 15 minutes. Granted it’s a 45 minute drive to get to Rolling Audio, worth it. Neil and his team were extremely polite, understanding, attentive, and professional. I told him EXACTLY what I wanted, and he gave me EXACTLY what I asked for, AND exceeded my expectations. I paid less than half of what I was quoted by 2 other audio shops.

I will just start from the beginning! I was on my way to an appointment to have a stereo installed at another place. I had read the reviews on this place after I made the appointment. I got really nervous and started going through reviews on other shops. Rolling audio had great reviews so I dropped by and was quickly greeted by Neil. Neil was very patient and professional with me while I rattled on endlessly about my apprehensions regarding the other shop and what I wanted out of my stereo and that the subwoofers had to be dogproof. He jumped on his computer and looked some things up, showed me some speakers and made recommendations. We listened to the stereo wall, he even indulged me when I asked for him to play the "Humpty Dance" to test the subwoofers. One of the techs joined us and he was a pleasure to converse with also. I was so excited until Neil told me they were booked two weeks out! Neil said if I could leave my car overnight for a couple of days he would squeeze me in. When I went to pick my Nissan Pathfinder up this evening ,my car was running and the a/c on for me. The inside was nice and clean. Neil gave me a whole walk around and tour of my new system which sounds FREAKING AWESOME! I seriously can tell you how pleasant and easy this whole experience was. If you are looking for a shop that really loves what they do and it shows in their customer service, product, and workmanship, this is the place for you!!!!! Thank you Neil...
