I give this store one star because I entered the store no one greeted me I walked around about 3 mins still no acknowledgment of being in the store. Finally a gentleman to whom want a salesman helped me and I asked his name he said James and I asked about a apple product and he had a guy name Chris to assist and then he let management know I needed assistance and I waited 33 mins standing at the front desk and with the First Gentleman James and the manager asked 3 people could he help them before asking me and I was there first. And after looking directly in my face the manager still did not say can I help you and someone will be with you in a few… I try to support the hometown business however I do not support racism and being shunned or ignored. However if you go and the gentian name James will acknowledge you and Chris will help you. Other than that the products look great in this store but the new employees are no match to the ones they let go or transferred they really helped anyone...
Read moreWe purchased a loveseat and chair back in January. The chair fell off the delivery truck and was destroyed. We were told the chair would be replaced and delivered mid to late February. To date we have not received the replacement. Two weeks ago we were told a store in Reedsville had the chair in stock and Schewel would be picking it up and would schedule delivery. I've called several times to inquire this past week and have not received a substantial response. I've left messages for the store manager and have not received a return call. I've ask to return the loveseat and take my business elsewhere. To have an outstanding issue since January gives me no confidence in the company for future purchases. My first purchase was two beds purchased in a October of last year. This purchase went seamlessly. Of course, we were able to pick the beds ourselves and no delivery was required. I'm hopeful of a resolution soon that is agreeable for all parties involved....

I will be honest, I only had one purchase where I had several issues and was not very pleased. But I am very glad to say, that because I still had my warranty on my furniture, Roxboro Schewels Furniture did make things right for me. I am very pleased with the turn out. Things could have gone a bit better if I had chose to push the issue, about things that happened while the furniture was being delivered to me, but I didn't have the time nor did I have the strength.
