BUYER BEWARE: Shady business! I needed a specific width fridge. They had two- a french door and a side by side. I bought the french door and it ended up being too small for my needs so I asked to exchange it for the side by side. When originally quoted prices, I was told the french door was $1299 and the side by side was $999. After asking to exchange, I was told the side by side was now $1399! I took the picture they had sent me the week before and the picture I took in store and they tried to tell me it was a different fridge. It was most definitely the same fridge. While trying to talk to Dana about the fridges being identical, Jefferey kept interrupting and aggressively taking over the conversation. I then tried to speak with Lisa at the front desk and he did the same thing. He was trying to convince me he'd sold the original side by side the week before and it appeared Dana and Lisa were afraid to disagree with him. Only when threatened with legal action did they decide to honor their original price and refund overpayment. I had to return the french door and pick up the side by side though as they would not deliver again.    Read moreAs the owner of a rental property in Hartwell, I found myself in a tough spot when guests reported that the refrigerator was acting up — and I was two hours away. I reached out to Northeast Georgia Appliances on a Wednesday afternoon, not expecting much with such short notice. To my surprise, the owner, Jim, said he could come out Thursday morning, even though he was slammed preparing to go on vacation the next week.
True to his word, Jim showed up early Thursday, and thank goodness he did — the issue was internal and serious enough that it nearly caused a fire. He safely turned off the unit, and when I asked if he had any recommendations for a new fridge, he told me he had some in stock and would send me photos later that day. That evening, his wife, Dana followed up with pictures, and they ended up selling me a high-end refrigerator for half the price of the same unit I found online at Best Buy.
They delivered it the very next day — Friday morning — installed it, and hauled off the old one for a very reasonable price.
I highly recommend Northeast Georgia Appliances as they are honest, dependable, and incredibly kind-hearted people. Jim could have taken advantage of my situation, but instead, he went out of his way to help, and I ended up with a great deal and total peace of mind.

Tuesday scheduled repair for Friday. Wednesday they called and asked to come now. I agreed. They arrived and were rude to both my wife and I. Never heard a please just come here, look. Asked when I changed the filter. I told him it’s new. He asked gruffly How long has it been. Told him three days ago but couldn’t flush it due to no water. They said I need a new pump/part. Said they would call with a price. We told them they came off rude. Tone is everything in this conversation and they were not business like. After they left they called and said they won’t come back because we were rude lol. Couldn’t tell you if they’re competent. All they did was take off the water feed and push the water button.
