i’ve been twice and BOTH times were so wack. first time i got nachos with pico and beans and there was barely any cheese, it was cold- and i didn’t get any pico (that i paid for) second time i ordered three tamales ($7) and they were hardly as big around as two of my fingers the guac i paid $4.50 for was not even full. was decently tasty , but still disappointed to have gotten what i got for $13 almost

Good food! They serve REAL poblano Chile Rellenos not that ground beef-cheese-bell pepper glop you get at other mexican restaurants. Love the Mexican tacos, all good with a monster beer. Cool bar, clean, nice staff, not expensive, hopping downtown Royston location. This town needed this place bad, glad it is here.

Ordered to-go order consisting of two hard shell beef tacos with no lettuce, add sour cream and chori pollo. My husband and I got home from picking it up to find that only half of the order was correct. My tacos were no where to be found, and we checked the ticket order it was placed correctly.

If I could give it less than one star I would. My best friend and I used to come here once a week. When Trish worked here, everything was always amazing. When she left, me and my friend kept trying to come here but we didn’t enjoy the atmosphere, but we still loved the food. But then, we slowly stopped going there. I recently went there with my boyfriend and his family (it was their first time coming), because even though I disliked the service skills, the food was always good. This time when we went, we waited over an hour for our food. When we got the food I ordered the birria tacos, which was my favorite thing to eat there. I had to wait an addition 25 minutes for the soup that’s supposed to come with it, by then my food was cold. Despite that I still was willing to eat it, I spit out the first bite because it tasted so horrible. I was so disappointed because that was my favorite meal. My boyfriend and his father got the taco salad. They hardly touched it. The food was ice cold, and there was hardly any meat. Soon after that, while waiting in line to pay I noticed a small boy dragging the chip cans across the floor upside down, where the top of the cans were against the floor. I paid and left. While outside my boyfriend proceeded to get super sick and throw up everything he ate. That was the only meal he had so of course, it was because of the food. The next day I tried to call and talk to the manager, someone took my name and told me they’d call me. Nobody reached out. Despite that I called a few more times, I even talked to the managers nephew and he even agreed that my visit sounded horrible and that the manager would give me a call. Nobody ever reached out. 0/5. I would never recommend this place ever again to anyone, and as a matter of fact I strongly encourage people not to go there, bad service, bad food, horrible all...

While previous service has always been excellent, especially when Patricia is there, tonight 1/16/23 we had a different waitress than the usual two that come to take our order, she was very passive aggressive. Before this we waited outside in the cold weather for about 10 minutes waiting for a table to become available as there were two dirty ones that weren’t bussed the entire time. My brother order a beer, and by the time our food was ordered, cooked, and brought to our table he still didn’t have the beer. So we eventually asked a different staff member to bring it to us since our waitress wasn’t coming to check on us or anything, giving us the chance to ask her. Nevertheless we were brought the wrong beer by the lady who we originally asked for it, when we said this isn’t the beer we wanted, she said they were out, so she offers us something else and we take Corona, it takes her ten minutes to come back with the original beer we were wanting that she said they were out of before we settled for corona. This was probably some of the worst service I have ever experienced somewhere, it’ll be a while before...

I truly only write this review out of love for this place, as my husband and I have eaten here nearly every Friday for a year and half. We’ve celebrated anniversaries, birthdays, and many date nights here. Over the past few months we’ve noticed a dip in quality and service. We order takeout mostly and it was wrong every other time. Only a couple times we didn’t catch it before we left and got home with wrong orders. Tonight was the last straw and we probably won’t come back for a while, until something changes. I ordered a shrimp salad and my croutons were stale, the shrimp was under seasoned, and some cucumbers were brown. The choriqueso gets smaller and smaller every time, yet the price has gone up. We used to really love this place and we recommended it to everyone, but now we’ll no longer be ordering from here on fridays and wasting the money. I can’t say for sure but I think opening the second location has taken a toll on this one. I hope it gets better soon, and when it does, we’ll come back. But for now, we’ll be going elsewhere...
