We have purchased three mattresses from Kiger. One initially last summer 2024, which we discovered upon delivery had bulging springs so they brought us another one. The second two mattresses with two box springs that we purchased on New Years Eve were delivered at the end of January, & one of the mattresses had many defects in the form of stitching that was unstitched all around the sides of it. Stitching is a very important part of the structural integrity of a mattress, so I spoke to Eddie, the owner by cell phone asking for a replacement. He said he wasn't sure if the manufacturer would replace it or not, leaving me uncertain whether Eddie would stand behind his product. He said he might be able to resell that mattress in his showroom. He said he would have to check & see what they say, after which I sent pics to him via cell phone so he could see these were significant workmanship defects that any reputable manufacturer should be willing to warranty, esp since they were discovered the moment the product was unpackaged by the delivery team. He replied back that he preferred to refund all my money & send the delivery guys immediately back to reclaim everything, because he apparently didn't want to do business with me, even though I was very nice about everything. I was shocked and very distressed that he would threaten to take back all that I had purchased & waited a month to receive (2 matts and 2 box springs), just bc of factory defects. I thought that was rude and unkind to treat a customer that way for something that wasn't my fault. He then agreed to check with the manufacturer, which ultimately agreed to replace it & they later delivered it to me, but when I tried to contact Eddie afterward for help finding a living room set, he ignored me. When I tried contacting his saleslady Nancy, she took days to reply & then when she did she sent me an attachment in a format I couldn't open, but when I asked for another format, she said her time was limited & was too busy to help me. I also had told Eddie prior to the delivery of the 2 matts & 2 boxsprings to bring 2 of the 8.75 inch boxsprings and 2 of the 4-inch ones, so we could pick from them during delivery, and since I paid for the larger 8.75 inch ones, then if I decided to go with the 4-inch ones, he could give me a refund, which he agreed to do. But when I ended up selecting the 4-inch ones upon delivery & asked how much refund I'd get, he said "nothing", even though I'm pretty sure he had told me prior to the sale that the 4-inch ones were $20 each cheaper. He ended up relenting and sending me $10 each refund ($20 total) for going with the smaller ones. I also found him to be very unresponsive over several months to my attempts to reach him, & was usually gone home long before they closed. After Nancy said she was too busy I decided to go into the store on my birthday during business hours, 15 min before close, but the place was completely closed already, so that was a wasted trip. Read moreThis company is located in rrual hall across from the post office. It doesn't look like much on the outside bit it is larger than it looks once you go inside. They have a variety of furniture from different manufacturers, depending on what style and material you like.
No prices on items, you see a price marked out but the sales guy said it was half of what was seen. That wasn't clear at least to me when we were looking at them. Their prices are about the same as badcocks, Ashley's and others around Winston Salem NC.
The floors were fairly clean and the staff friendly, don't know if they had a bathroom or not, wasn't there long enough...

We talked about the size of my room, fabric possibilities, reclining options, and which layout would be right for us. He let me know which brands would meet my needs.
