I was in the market for a handgun recently. Having grown up in Rushville and knowing the Fields family I wanted to support local / hometown businesses. I called Ryan at the store. He had exactly the pistol I was looking for. I was not going to make it down in time and he put the pistol on layaway for me. I made the drive back home and went in to pick up the weapon. He had the pistol as promised and had plenty of ammo as well. The store is excellently stocked and Ryan and Jason Fields were a great help answering any questions. If you want to keep the American dream alive buy LOCAL, buy from small family owned stores. The big box may have it for a few bucks cheaper but the money doesn’t stay here. It goes to big business then we will have nothing left in our towns. Buy local and keep food on your neighbors table. God bless you guys and will see...

Great selection of everything! Admittedly, it's not a Pro Bass store. But these guys are 100% friendly, helpful, caring of their customers needs. I'd have to say that the STAFF is the BEST part of the store. But guess what, they have things you just cannot buy elsewhere....like AMMO! :-) Slightly higher than "old" prices but I guess those days are gone. Prices much better than internet. Dealing with them was like dealing with family....country folks. I brought my side-by-side in for a little repair, and they don't have a smithing license. But they were so happy to get me a referral to a local, good guy for that.

Fields Ammo put a severely damaged case of 1000 rounds of ammo inside a bigger box and shipped it to me as new. The damage was so bad that the heavy cardboard case box was split open in places and 2 of the 100 round boxes inside were torn open as well. Rounds were spilling out. This was not shipping damage because the outermost box was fine. No reply from business owner and Reserve Officer Jason Fields. I would have inspected the ammo and sold what was good at a discount in my shop instead of shipping it to a customer. Gotta wonder if they drop guns and...
