Kroger — Local services in Rushville

We went to do our weekly grocery shopping at 9 am. They open at 7 am. They had no registers open because the only cashier was on break after only two hours. The self checkouts were all open and filled.. several elderly had full shopping carts. You can only scan 1 item put in bag wait, then repeat. You can’t take all your stuff out of cart so when your bags are full you have no where to place them. You have to scan and wait for each item to register the weight. Very slow, then you have coupons and items not scanning so you have one poor clerk running to several self checkouts to help customers. The cashier is great trying to help us all. You could tell the stress was getting to her and she remained friendly and helpful. She couldn’t open a register as she had no til. If someone is on break why do you not have another clerk to take over. Either you put the cashiers back where they need to be or upgrade your self checkouts to handle a full shopping cart. Not everyone knows how to scan, bag, use their Kroger cards etc. I feel sorry for the poor cashier, she is trying to do her job but running back and forth trying to help us all. If she had a register we could have went through faster with less problems. Self check out are only helpful to...

Nice little store that we occasionally visit, however, on this day during self-check, the person working with the half black half white hair was not only unfriendly, but dirty, as well. I needed to give them my coupons after scanning, and when they came over, their black clothes were COVERED in light colored animal hair. I’ve never seen anything like it! Disgusting. And this person didn’t grunt one single word at me, as I thanked them for their help. What is management thinking, by letting this lack of cleanliness work...

Went in to the Kroger Deli to grab something for a quick lunch today. At 12:15pm there was only a few items left behind the counter?? The glass at the deli was so dirty I couldn’t make out what was behind it. I walked down to the lunch meat counter and the glass and counter were just as dirty. I lost interest pretty quickly and left. I’ve been to several Kroger Deli’s and have had great food for lunch or on the go. Not...
