I like to call it a “Vintage Market”. Not only antiques and a step up from your regular flea market. There are over 140 vendors and 12,000 sq ft of variety for your shopping pleasure. The variety inside gives you more options for the whole family; antiques, vintage, retro, primitive, farmhouse, shabby chic, industrial, dishes, books, albums, toys, games, home decor, furniture, clothing, tools, crafts… just a little bit of everything. And variety is the spice of life. The vintage decor and signage around the store gives it personality and flare. The VW bus out front is a great photo opportunity of your experience. Y’all, this is not a chain store or department store… it’s local, small town USA at its best! Each vendor is in control of their own merchandise and prices. You don’t know what they had to pay for the item or how far they drove for the item or if they had to paint and fix up the item. All of that is factored into the price they pick for their merchandise. Some of the vendors do discounts and sales and some of the vendors do layaway. Several options for payment; cash, check, card, PayPal, Venmo. And shipping is available. They just got voted The Best of the Best in the River Valley. The vendors and employees are all like family and very helpful and friendly. This is a must stop and see on your list of things to do in Russellville....
Read moreIt's several very small, mostly unattended, seller booths under one roof. Quite a variety of items, of all ages (light on MCM and antiques). Some vintage, and some brand new stuff as well. I was able to find something worth the trip (see photo). I collect this era of ceramic figures (50s and 60s). The were only a few things I had issues with during my visit: first, it is an absolute MAZE in there - in case of fire, I would have had a hard time finding the exit - i got lost TWICE, trying to find the cash register to pay for my items; second, the aisles were so narrow, I kept bumping into other customers in certain areas, and I'm absolutely CERTAIN someone in a wheelchair or using a walker would not be able to navigate the entire store; third, the black mammy merchandise was.....disturbing, and in my mind, inappropriate; and last but not least, do the bathrooms REALLY need to be kept locked = the sign says to prevent shoplifting , but just having to get the key from the front would not prevent someone from stealing...
Read moreLots of "pintrest" items, They did open up a new area. Some pretty neat items. As for the reply to Funky town Mall owner, why I did not give a 5 star. IMO A 5 star exceeds expectations- For example, none one greeted me at the door, nor asked if I needed help. Having to go get a key to the restroom (nothing like feeling like i am a thief). Music was extremely loud. As for thus why a 4 star, not a 5 star. Yall did have some neat stuff, mainly yes PIntrest items, its ok, not all places are "antiques" or Flea Markets. Place was nice. 5 stars means exceeds, above and beyond, killer customer service.--- I rather spend my money at a small business vs a box store. locals are what makes this town go around. Maybe next time I am in, I can change it to a...
