Went in to Hippie Palace today to look for my 15 yr old stepdaughter who had taken off from home, because thats one of her hangs out and when I asked the female working if she had seen her. She asked to see a picture. Asked if i was her mom and when i told her i was her stepmom, she stood up from her chair, I went to show her a picture no sooner i reached out to hand her my phone she stood up and her dog jumped up at the same time and bit me! NO PROFESSIONAL SHOP OWNER SHOULD EVER HAVE AN ANIMAL UNLEASHED IN THEIR ESTABLISHMENT. She looked at me like I had done something wrong! Grabbed the dog by the collar and led it into a room saying, BAD DOG. SHE CAME BACK TO ME DENIED EVER SEEING MY KID WHICH WAS A LIE AND TOLD ME GOOD LUCK! Josh and his wife are always super helpful and knowledgeable of the products they sell. Very nice people who run an honest business with customer satisfaction in mind. The shop itself is so cool with a variety of stuff like posters, clothing, décor, pieces, music gear, and so much more. Definitely worth checking out.

If you see “Obscene Trix”’s 1-star negative review about Josh “eating your pockets”, it’s totally unjustified. I was in there the day he came in playing guitar with my friend right in front of the counter. He was mad that he had to pay taxes if he bought the guitar with his card, EVEN THOUGH Josh offered to cut him a deal if he had the cash on hand. My husband and I checked out Hippie Palace while we were visiting Russellville and had an awesome experience! The owners, Joshua and Vannah, are so kind and treated us like family. The atmosphere of their store is so chill and inviting, and they are willing to go above and beyond to meet their customer's needs. They were willing to order items they didn't have readily even recommended another local store that may carry those items.
