The Queen's Closet — Local services in Russellville

found a dress from here in the 270 market i liked but they didn’t have the size i needed, so i ordered from the business owner of The Queens Closet. I got the dress delivered to the 270 market. turned out it just didn’t work for me so i took it back a few days later. they tell me The Queens Closet does not allow returns, all sales are final. No one, not anyone at the 270 market OR the owner of The Queens Closet, let me know this. i can understand policies, but absolutely no one made me aware of it before OR while i was purchasing it. I would not have bought the dress if i knew this. AND the 270 Market has a sign next to their register that states “we offer returns to every customer within 10 days with tag and receipt attached.” These policies are contradicting. I addressed the owner of The Queens Closet and was told sorry but wont take it back. it was a business mess up and i feel they should have taken the dress back being that it was an issue on their behalf. again, totally understand policies, but you should ALWAYS make sure your customers are aware of them. otherwise you are taking advantage of their business. it is rude, among just wrong. I now am out money i thought i could easily get back if the dress did not work out.

update: i attached photos of the messages i received from the owner of this business. no one should EVER treat their customers in this way. I was more than willing to work the issue out nicely so this is very disappointing. would absolutely never recommend

update update: If you read her response, you can read that i was indeed not informed of the no return policy until AFTER i tried to return it. i absolutely hate the mess that this turned into because i was more than willing to work it out, but to constantly lie and claim to be bullied when someone calls out your mistake is ridiculous. businesses make mistakes but it’s about how you fix them that matters. and this lady did it in the worst way possible. She also went off of the lady from 270 Market for working something out with me, therefore the lady told her she was to remove all of her things from her store. I know why this is called The Queen's Closet because my daughter was pampered like royalty! Everyone was so nice and really listened to what she was looking for. Dress shopping isn't easy with my daughter because she already has in her mind what the dress will look like and she will not settle for anything less. She tried on her dress and l knew by her smile, this was THE DRESS. I was afraid that the dress would be out of budget, but to my surprise, it was very affordable!
