Main Street Market — Local services in Sabattus

A great little local market in an older building. Has lots of what you need or want. Can get busy at lunch. I am not a big fan of their subs, grinders, sandwiches but will do in a pinch. The ladies (mostly) behind the counter can be either hot or cold, on top of their game or to busy chatting with others. Place could use a remodel with a better layout. UPDATE: The grinders, sandwiches and subs are still fair at best. Nothing improves in this place. I guess the owner doesn't have the skills to improve his business. Really nice people. Sunday mornings they get donuts from the Italian Bakery in Lewiston at 8 o'clock. The donuts are awesome and fresh when they get them. Best to get there early if you want something certain, they go pretty fast. Main Street Market also is a little grocery store with some meats. The owners of this store are just the friendliest people! Best buffalo chicken pizza ever! Their sandwiches are always made fresh and are very good. I try and go for coffee most mornings.
