Mixers Nightclub & Lounge — Restaurant in Sabattus

I read a few reviews. I came to this place to check out their Car/Bike night which is on their lower traffic days. This was actually preferable to me an my wife. We actually got to talk to the bouncer who also rides. We got to talk to the new owners and hear their perspectives. To the review: Food was excellent and actually very well presented. I tried a Filipino dish and my wife had a grilled cheese. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Atmosphere: There were a few folks (10 at most) who seems to all know each other and were very welcoming. Again, no issues there. We had actually a good time and enjoyed the sunset out in the empty patio. Bike night: My wife and I rode the sport bikes that night and felt very welcome without a flinch. We kicked tires for a bit. Again, no issues. We'll go back to check a few dancing themes out, no doubt. To the opinion: This is a locally owned business. Veteran owned at that. Mixing Asian dish into this nightclub is totally commendable and I want to encourage that diversity - especially something outside of the "Asian mainstream". I hope they stick around.

Went out with a group of friends for a birthday party, one of them had 3 drinks total over 3 and a half hours and then she was removed from the bathroom because she stumbled while we walked towards the bathroom. It was a joke of her being clumsy not a sign of her being drunk. The staff then proceeded to send her outside without letting her grab her coat(that she walked past on the way out the door) and even after explaining what happened to the bouncer that saw her stumble, he told me to make sure not to do it next time his decision is final. We've been here 5-6 times prior in the past months and we love going out and having a good time but this is a sorry excuse to kick someone out and to realize you made a mistake and still decide to hold on it when she was standing there talking to them completely fine. Watch out because the bartenders will keep the rest of your change without your consent when you pay for your drinks! Gave them a $20 for $18 of drinks and they just kept the extra $2 and did not give it back to me, and I did not allow or say they could keep the difference. It's happened multiple times too. Really shady service...
