On 02/22/2022, I went to Bill Dodge Nissan of Saco car dealership located at 852 Portland Road, Saco, Maine, 04072 to check and to see if I could purchase a vehicle, a 2020 Lincoln Aviator that I had seen advertised on Facebook marketplace. At the car dealership at Bill Dodge, I noticed that the vehicleâs car eyeglass visor wonât stay up despite several attempts by myself or the assistant salesperson Mr. Frank Sandoval. He had to bring in the Sales Manager Mr. Michael who was also unable to rectify the problem. The manager informed me that this was a minor issue as I could take this to the Lincoln dealership to have this problem fixed as the vehicle was still under warranty and with many coercive wordings like âthis car has no other issues, you would enjoy this car without any other issues, trust meâ. That, which I accepted taking his word as something simple to fix because I liked the vehicle and going off from the sales manager reassuring words that this problem is the only problem as he can guarantee.
Within less than 12 hours from leaving the dealership the check engine light, a crack on windshield, defect driverâs seat and defective auto beam functioning were all popping up on the vehicle. The car delearship manager, Patrick Sullivan lied that he did not receive any email from me that evening informing him about how dissatified I was about the purchase and my intentions to refund this vehicle yet he threatened to report me to the Saco Police because I had cancelled the deposit check that I made out to them.
The CARFAX service report indicated on (2/22/2022) that the car had been thoroughly serviced and inspected, something that I did not know until 2 weeks after I received an email from CARFAX about the car history.
I strongly believe that the car dealership knew about these faults and yet the dealership technician temporally cleared the dashboard because the service report indicated the vehicle was inspected on day of purchase and this is the report: Vehicle serviced, Vehicle washed/detailed, Engine checked, Engine/powertrain computer/module checked, Windshield repaired, Emissions or safety inspection performed.
They claimed that there was no error on this vehicle at time of purchase and yet this report contradicts their word or claim. From the CARFAX report, it indicates the windshield was repaired, was it somebody reporting that work or repairs were performed on the car, yet NO repairs ever occurred. In every fashion or shape these guys are crooks and I don't think I owe any amount in cancelling this loan. I clearly think that I have been fooled and tricked into a purchase that the car dealership knew fully well that this car had many issues.

Due to this purchase, I have been psychologically stressed, economically burdened through car rental fees and also the day to day hassles without any clear direction as to when this closure can come through.
I regard this as misrepresentation to the public. and Nobody should be fooled by their deceptive radio and TV adverts.
Needless to say I would NEVER refer this car dealership to anyone. I am currrently working with my lawyer to address the situation.

Update. September 2022 I went in to have my car detailed. This is a service I paid for when I purchased the car it was a package with oil changes. I get my car back and it appears clean and smells very nice. I get home and look in back and find a bag of items I had in the car. A small bible, pens, a cup of coffee WITH COFFEE IN IT!, (side note it spilled on everything in the bag. Bible included) I should have known better than to keep ANYTHING in the car. A small amount of change was missing. Less than a dollar and a small Batman toy symbol is also missing. It was upsetting but I should have know better right? Well upon further inspection I find a clip holding the driver side floor mat broken. This car is less than 2 years old. Unacceptable! I was not even notified that this was broken. Again unacceptable. I called Bill Dodge Nissan Saco and was told that they would fix the problem. In the end the problem was fixed. It was fixed at Great inconvenience to me. I was asked what do I get out of this deal and I was told that I get a free carpet. Well I didn't want a free carpet I wanted my original carpet. That they destroyed. I wanted not to be inconvenienced. I wanted not to be called a liar when I brought to their attention that things were taken from my car. Again I asked what do I get out of this deal and I was told from the manager of the service department I give you an apology. Well to that I say unacceptable . I should get much more than an apology after I've paid $500 for a service that you've messed up on . Now I have to bring it to you to get service I get a hassle now all I get out of it is an apology. Anyone can sell a car proof is in the pudding when it comes to service. So far I'm not so sure. I guess we'll see I have 3 years to go. My father has been doing business with you for many years and I know for fact when he goes in there he does not get the kind of service that I got when I was there. I was treated disrespectfully. And I believe it is because I am a woman. And I do not appreciate it. And I am not going to tolerate it. And I am going to speak loudly. Every time I go in there.    Read moreI have waited about a year to write this review for fear of retaliation from the owners of this place. I leased a Nissan Rogue from this company, and I regret the decision to do so today. I made every payment on time during the three year lease term except for my final payment. I was not notified that the payment failed to process because I had set up automated payments with my bank. Although I was never notified of the missed payment, all three credit rating agencies were immediately notified of the missed payment. I made the payment as soon as I learned that the automatic payment failed to be processed. Nonetheless, my credit score took a nose dive as a result of a single missed payment and Bill Dodge and his employees refused to do anything to help me repair the damage to my credit score. To add insult to injury, Bill Dodge made me pay an extra $500 for not renewing my lease. Of course, I could not renew my lease because Bill Dodge had destroyed my credit. I now have limited access to finance for things like my kids education and pay exorbitant rates for the money I am still able to borrow. My recommendation is to meet your transportation needs by riding a bike, walking or even crawling before getting involved with a Bill Dodge distribution outlet - whether Nissan or otherwise. If you decide to do business with these folks, expect to pay far more money than what you are told you will have to pay and donât count on Bill Dodge doing anything for you other than taking your money and treating you like an indentured servant, nickeling and diming you into poverty. Donât be a fool. Dodge Bill Dodge like your financial welfare depended on it. Donât be like me and learn this lesson...
