G Salon — Local services in Sacramento

Got a cut and partial color with Connie. She was very nice, and they took me as a walk in which I appreciated. She did a fantastic job on my hair! I really love the cut and color.

Minus one star unfortunately for ambiance and cleanliness. There was a large chunk of someone else's hair floating around under my chair when I was seated (I was wearing flip flops so that was a bit gross). There was a slightly fishy smell, I could not tell if it was the hair dyes being mixed or the restaurant next door. They had fans and the doors open for lots of ventilation but you could still smell it. Last, the chairs at the sink station where they wash your hair are not comfortable. They do not have a foot rest/recliner attachment so your legs just dangle and it's not comfortable, especially when sitting there...

I'm a guy and I'm pretty picky about my hair, so this was not an easy task. I looked on Yelp and wanted to find one close to my house. I came across G Salon, read a few reviews and thought I'd give it a try.

Looked like an "Average" salon, but looks are very deceiving in this case. I got this girl named Anna, who was really friendly and knowledgeable in hair. Did I mention she is pretty too! My hair looked amazing for the price, and I enjoyed every minute chatting away with Anna. The price was well worth the service I received, and I will be a regular customer there definitely!

This place is definitely a diamond in the rough, so fellow Yelpers let it be known G Salon...

Heaven sent, kind all out straight AMAZING!!!! People like this ladys still are out there folks!!! Like I walked into a place where everyone is talking laughing and all ot having a wonder time. Smiles on every single face. What did I have done there you may ask. Well my car broke down in front of this ladys shop and they treated us with such kindness and grace even though we had a car and tools in 3 of there parking spaces.
