QTea Boba — Restaurant in Sacramento

😩 I just got a Thai milk tea and it tasted like SOAP! unfortunately my babies drank most of it before I had my first sip and I immediately started feeling sick 🤢 I know the boba was not fresh and this is not the first time I get bad quality boba (pearl). God knows what is being served to paying customers it feels like these businesses / “workers” hate their customers by the way of their service and degrading quality of the food and drinks being purchased it’s not free and most definitely not affordable at all to be getting this kind of experience and poor quality. I will be contacting food inspection because it is getting out of hand and ridiculous the way these owners put the public at risk of getting sick 🥵 my 2 year old got diarrhea right after and my stomach now hurts. I hope we don’t have to go to the hospital. I am only letting it be knows to warn others of the potential harm. We got Jasmine Milk Tea and the first thought that came to my mind was "almost". The boba was like chewing straight tapioca powder. There was literally no flavor. If I didn't have a car and this was the only boba place in the area, I would say this place is serviceable, but with a bunch of much much better boba places not very far away, this just doesn't cut it. It doesn't matter how cute or Instagrammable they make their boba place. At the end of the day people care about the strength of the tea and the taste of the boba. I hope they change up their recipe so we can have a decent boba place in the pocket, but it's not there yet. Also...

Not a bad neighborhood Boba tea and snack place. I've stopped by a couple of times now while I've been in the neighborhood and the drinks have not been bad. They use syrups for the fruit teas so those can be a bit hit or miss (Peach good, Watermelon not so much) but I really prefer places that use fresh fruit, or at least a fruit puree.

I went ahead and tried a spam musubi the last time and it was made to order and pretty tasty. Not sure how they kept the nori wrap as crispy as they did but even after being in the bag a few minutes it was still crisp.
