I recently visited The Sanctuary Dispensary in Sacramento, and I was very impressed. The dispensary is located in a chill environment, and the employees were energetic and very helpful. My favorite part was the fact that they allow you to smell every strain before you buy it. This is a great way to find the perfect product for your needs. And as you know, ā€œthe nose knows bestā€ The budtenders at The Sanctuary Dispensary are very knowledgeable about the products they sell, and they are always happy to answer any questions you have. They also have a great selection of products, including flower, concentrates, edibles, and topicals. Overall, I had a great experience at The Sanctuary Dispensary. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the products were top-notch, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this dispensary to anyone looking for a great place to buy products in Sacramento.

Will NOT be returning. Sold me a faulty stizzy pod that broke 4 days after minimal use. MUCH more than half of the pod is left and unusable. EXTREMELY disappointing as these are expensive pods ($50 + tax). When I called the store they gave me no accommodations. Didn’t expect a refund because it is a used product, but they could have at LEAST given me a discount on a replacement. The worker on the phone was rude and not friendly whatsoever. Super disappointed as people in the cannabis community are typically nice and generous people. Would give no stars if it was an option. Would not recommend if you are expecting to buy a reliable product.

Online the sanctuary tells you that you will receive your order within 30-60 minutes and it says this in multiple places, how ever I ordered at 11am and it is now 1:45 pm. Upon calling in they say it's another hour out. This is not only false advertising its impeding ony day as I ordered through them so I could be at work on time. They didn't even offer to refund me or give me some credit for this..

Shocked and disappointed. Buyer BEWARE electronics and promo items is apparently the moral of the story from our recent experience. Short story is if you buy a bundle, just hope that whatever item they mark as a penny in their system doesn't malfunction because their only solution is to refund you a penny and perhaps an offer of 10% off next purchase.

The longer story leaves me extremely disappointed and confused as a customer for almost a decade, since SCCC. We purchased a joint bundle and the 3 cart trio(+battery) bundle yesterday. By the time we reached Watt Ave and went to charge the battery, we discovered 3 out of the 4 bundle joints had not made it into our bag. After years of purchasing the bundle I've never experienced this, as they usually place the item in the bag after scanning. Today however there had been multiple problems with the POS requiring a manager to come and assist twice. She was extremely apologetic for the delay and problems and worked quickly to get things fixed, but there were many moving parts. I assume this is how the joints were misplaced. We returned and spoke with the same manager who remembered our interaction, and was deeply apologetic again. She did her due diligence, got the 3 joints, and we were on our way. While it was mildly frustrating to have to deal with Watt traffic returning and taking about 10 minutes to correct this, we were still satisfied and the problem was resolved.

Perhaps this is where we should have tested all of our products, but the malfunctioning pen was an indica we saved for later in the night. When it was time for bed we finally tried the Dibs Do-Si-Lato disposable only to find it would not hit. We decided to call in the morning and see what our options were.

I called and spoke with a very pleasant manager who told us to come back in with our receipt, product, and packaging and they'd get us taken care of. We went right over and had a lead come to assist us. She took our receipt and item and informed us that because of the way their promos work, that they would only be able to return the item for a penny as that is what we were charged for it. Apparently their promo listed as $70 for 3 gram carts (+battery) is broken down in there system in a way that one item is essentially "free" for the penny and she described it as a buy two get one free, which is not how the bundle is advertised. I understand there are certain laws with the cannabis industry that might be difficult, so I asked if we aren't able to exchange for the exact product, would we be able to get today's "free" penny item. We weren't buying the bundle for that specific pen, but to get 3 grams as advertised so we'd be happy with another replacement. She did state she would ask the inventory manager if they could do that, however things had been getting more confrontational from all sides as this interaction continued. She brought up an excuse of "electronics" and gave an example of other electronics or a new car not working after purchase... Which is a weird analogy when as we pointed out to her those items would be returned and there are lemon laws that would also ensure you weren't stuck with a car that failed as soon as it pulled off the lot... She stated there were no laws like that for the cannabis industry and went off to the back.

While they were seeing what they could do, we sat fuming in the lobby. Not only over the fact that we were likely not getting what we felt we paid for, but also that this interaction had gone so drastically different from our previous (and honestly different from every other interaction I've had with staff here).

She returned to tell us that the best they could do was offer us 10% off a future purchase, which we responded that we had ZERO interest in any future purchases here.

Again, every other time staff here has been fantastic and as a member of the LGBTQ+ community I've loved coming here to support a business who supports the community. Perhaps things would have gone differently with a different manager, but we won't be returning...

I worked here for over a year and they way they treat you when you attempt to leave in good standing (leaving a notice of resignation) is HORRIBLE. The way they treat their long term employees is HORRIBLE. The owner (Jacob) is known for being aggressive and creating a hostile work environment, if the budtenders and delivery drivers seem stressed it's cause no one has 100% job security here. I left on my own before I burnt out. The company is no longer focusing on the people but focusing on the numbers. I am non rehireable because I only gave a week notice. They tried to ask if I wanted that day to be my last day but I rejected their offer (If I wanted that I would of just quit). But, they terminate employees without any notice, and other employees usually know you'll be terminated before the actual employee that is being terminated. Overall not a good work environment but I guess you could buy cannabis from here. Honestly, I haven't been back since my last day of work and I couldn't be happier. Unfortunately I have a few old coworkers that are unable to just leave so please be nice to the sales floor workers and delivery workers, they are doing their best with what they are...

I visited your store and was denied service due to an ā€œincidentā€ with your delivery man. You obviously believe that my husband ran after your man for no reason. That’s not the case. I walked to his car to pick up my order, and as he saw my dog though the window and then he says ā€˜I’d like to pet your dog’. Was thinking it was a joke, but to my surprise he followed me to my front door and when I opened it he stuck his hand inside the door to pet my dog. Actually he was coming in, but turned around when he saw my husband, who already was pissed by what he saw. I think he thought I was living alone. The transaction was already done. Since when the delivery guys comes to pet the customers dog, when the dog is inside the house? Delivery guys job is to deliver, not to stick their nose to the customers home. I know very well that his story of how the things unfolded is different, but take a moment, breath deeply and think who has greater reason to lie. Didn’t complain immediately, because I wanted to save his job, but now I was forced to explain how the things...
