COST.U.LESS — Local services in Saint Croix

Quality "costco-like" store, unly half the size of a costco. They buy their inventory as needed and as they get good deals, so if you see something you like one week, don't expect it to be there the next. The sell both in bulk and in smaller sizes depending on the items. The fruits, vegetables, and meats are routinely in good condition. There is no membership fee. You will usually find some Kirkland brand items there. I can't always get all of my shopping done there as there are some items they just don't carry, or that sell out quickly, but it is always my first stop. Don't buy pineapples there, while quality fruit they are twice the price of any other store on the island, and I can't...

This Saint Croix location makes it easy to get into and out of. Ample parking even on busy days. VITRAN (public bus) passes here daily. Can be seen from Centerline Road. This company is set up just like Costco (imitation is a form of flattery). Packaged bread is good name brand quality, fresh and cheapest on Saint Croix. Produce selection is adequate and again high quality & good prices. Best fresh & frozen meat (turkey, steak, ground beef, fish, salt fish). Learn the store layout and find deals everywhere. Good prices and range of products, (especially good for vegan and vegetarian foods), and helpful, friendly staff. Clean restrooms, but I wish they'd fix the door latches in the ladies restroom. Two reasons I've not given 5 stars. When items are out of stock it can take a long time to restock. Several of my produce staple foods are not stocked here at all, plantains for example, and others are hardly ever stocked... avocados, only found them here once. That means I always have to visit Plaza East...
