Best sushi on the island hands down! I eat here all the time, and the ingredients are always fresh, and everything is made with intention. Their prices are always reasonable considering the cost of fresh, HIGH QUALITY fish is higher than most people realize. Umami definitely focuses on the quality of their fish. The staff is always super friendly and can make great suggestions if you're not sure what you should get. My favorite is being able to build your own roll...get creative!! Excellent option for a quick bite. Location was easy to find, parking was available, service was great. The ladies greeted us as soon as we walked in. I ordered the Umami Salad with a bottle of chilled sake to pair. Decent portion, fresh ingredients and very colorful. The ginger dressing paired with a little soy sauce took the flavors to another level. Nice balance of textures as well.
