Nicole was hired to do my wedding makeup. I had a trial done with her (which costs extra), and she was cool, funny and totally with it, I left feeling good about what we would do for my wedding. Day of the wedding there was a miscommunication about when she was to arrive, a minor annoyance. However what was a major issue was that even though I had a trial Nicole seemed to have forgotten everything about it, doing a totally different look on me that was not at all right. Realizing this she struggled to remove the mess on my face, not having brought remover for the airbrush foundation, she asked if I had any Windex on hand to assist in the removal! Windex, for my face!? No thank you. Eventually she succeeded in a total redo which in the end was exactly the look I wanted. In the process of all this I felt she was completely unprepared and unapologetic about her lack of preparation and respect of me on this big day. A makeup application that should have only taken 45 min. took 2 hours, causing me to miss my hair appointment. Thankfully I was able to reschedule that (although not with my original stylist) but it completely threw off the rest of our time frame for photos, etc. Before she left Nicole did offer to apply lashes for my bridesmaids which was a nice gesture but did not make up for all the anxiety and stress she had already caused. In addition to all this my makeup did not even last through half the day before it (strangely) began flaking off my face causing red patches to emerge. So I had to do my makeup again right after the ceremony. Did this incident ruin my day? Of course not but I think other brides should be forewarned before considering hiring Nicole for their wedding day, especially considering cost of services. Nicole is a good makeup artist, she just isn't very professional and I think she should abstain from doing...

Nicole made me feel like the most beautiful bride! Due to COVID and postponing our wedding, I actually had two trials. I loved my makeup at both but was still feeling unsure about what direction I wanted to go with hair on my wedding day. That anxiety was for nothing... Nicole nailed exactly what I wanted (but struggled to express) on the first try on the wedding day. Our photographer even told me it was the most beautiful and classic bridal updo she'd seen.

Nicole's assistants also did makeup and hair for my mom, MIL, sister and SIL. They did an especially great job with the moms who aren't used to wearing lots of makeup. Everyone looked amazing, and they brought a great energy to the day!

My only minor frustration was the messaging/scheduling system used. I understand that on the salon end it probably makes things easier, but as a client, it was a minor annoyance to have a separate communication platform from what I was using with my other wedding vendors.
