Thanks Statewide! 🙂 Life moves pretty fast so I will keep it short, and to the point. If there was a pawn shop spectrum, or scoring system, or 1 to 10 scale. Statewide gets a 9.5+ when it's impossible to get a 10. Very very good. Very polite, very accommodating. I am thankful for the excellent customer service. The kind staff worked with me helping me to buy my item back. That's integrity. That's good customer service, that's why I can't express enough good things. That's what folks deserve in these challenging times, 2020 etc. I was so happy to finally get my item back, other pawn shops would most likely have sold my item a long time ago. Not every pawn shop but most out there, they are open to work with You, that's a super plus! Look there's all sorts of pawn shops, some hardball, some just low ball people, some are really tough to deal with, etc etc, all sorts. I was introduced to a convenient app, they showed me and explained and it was easy, so I'm again very thankful. I must say, everyone on the staff is very respectful, the atmosphere is friendly, all questions you have will always be answered, plenty of parking, you can easily coordinate things you have to do with a trip to Waterford or the Chrystal mall etc. If You call while they're open, they'll answer, the phone won't just ring and go to a voicemail etc, further complicating Your busy day. That means a lot. I have nothing to say but good things... Integrity, they have integrity, I could write a book about customer service and how important it is for all consumers. If I write a book soon, this pawn shop can be the boilerplate model that other pawn shops may learn from if not already at that level of quality, watching to much "pawn stars" on history channel, or whatever channels the old reruns are on, no not the right mentality, this is real life, not a show, be respectful, honest and courteous, and You will be treated the same plus! Good quality stuff for sale, nice knowledgeable staff, good location, the best thing is, getting your item back after they were there for You when You needed them, and to me that means a lot. 🙂 To recap, good customer service, they will work with You, good quality items to buy if you see something You like. They are polite, nice atmosphere, nice store, friendly, honest, knowledgeable staff that can answer any questions, way more positive good stuff. If You want a fair deal, check out Statewide. It will make Your day when you get your item back, or find treasure in a deal etc 🙂 in comparison to other pawn shops, that sell your stuff if you're a few weeks late. There's a lot of good pawn shops, Statewide is equally good, if not better. (Truth: Statewide is better) Ultimately; kind and fair, knowledgeable great people, take my word for it, who could ask for more in a local pawn shop!? Thanks!! Happy...

⚠️GO TO GOLDSTAR PAWN IN GROTON INSTEAD⚠️ Statewide Pawn WILL try to SCAM YOU🙅🏻‍♀️❌ I brought some of my gold here to sell and luckily I already knew what it weighed. The short, scrappy looking guy with the beard tried to tell me it was a little over 2g, when it weighed 7g. So I had him put his scale on the counter and weigh it in front of me. It read “7 grams”. Then the guy had the audacity to try to tell me, “Yeah it’s 7g but gold goes by pennyweight (DWT) not grams (g). So it might be 7g but it’s only 2DWT” Im not an idiot, weight is weight it doesn’t change no matter what unit it’s measured in. The kid wouldn’t even give me $100 for what was about $300 worth of gold even after I caught him in his lie. I ended up going to Goldstar Pawn in Groton, where I was offered a fair price of over $300 without hesitation, and without them blatantly...

I bought a 22 cal Ruger pistol from them. I also purchased 500 rounds of ammo. I went back last Wednesday to buy more ammo and was sold a different brand of ammo. I went to the range and shot about 10 rounds and every single round jammed in the barrel. I took the gun that I purchased there and the ammo back and all they would do is NOTHING!!!! They said buy some more ammo but your out $42.49. They would not do anything, and it was like I was bothering them. They told me that's their policy. So beware if they sell you something that doesn't work to bad for you. I told them I have a policy also, IT IS GOOD BYE!!!!!!!!! I will never go back there again. What a LOUSY BUSINESS ETHIC!!!!!!!!
