Two Brothers Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Salem

I never write reviews, especially bad ones because I understand things happen, but I felt compelled here. Mostly because I came in on a Friday night and sat at the bar and noticed there is a bunch of memorabilia that seems to suggest that they support veterans. I am a disabled veteran of OEF/OIF. It was a little busy so it took a little time to get noticed and get my drink. Then the same thing with the menu and the same thing with ordering, I had to keep getting the bartenders attention instead of being asked and waited on. Others around me were also having to wait for refills, etc. I ordered a very simple meal a small cheeseburger sub with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and extra pickles. Do you want that toasted no thank you. it comes out well done, and I ordered it Medium. That’s OK because I don’t send food back because I’m not a complainer and I don’t trust that. It also came out toasted, which I absolutely despise and also had zero pickles. I asked if she could grab me a side of pickles and I waited about 10 minutes and then started to eat my cold burger without them. I asked another time and still they didn’t come. I didn’t want to finish the other half without them so I asked one more time and got a rude response and was told that when she asked the kitchen for them she got a weird look from them like they were upset or mad. I’m not exactly sure what is so difficult about getting Syed of pickles she could’ve just grab herself worked and bartender and cook so I know exactly what it’s like when it’s busy. So I lost my appetite at that point gave the sandwich back and asked for my check. Was told that I was getting a measly 10% off of the bill, which is nothing anyway, but I wanted it to be perfectly clear that it’s not about the money. I just wanted some pickles no big deal. I don’t care about money. I don’t care about the food Being Taken off of the bill none of that means anything to me. Only the service matters. So I left her a $10 tip on a $25 Meal just approve that the 10% was an insult and I don’t care about the money.

Needless to say this veteran is never going back. There’s something seriously wrong with the world these days I don’t think anybody understands good customer service anymore. I’m sorry I shouldn’t say nobody, but I have very specific restaurants that I go to all the time because they actually care about the customer and getting things right. Please don’t have the owner respond with something about coming back in and giving them another chance and getting a meal half off or for free or anything like that. First impressions are everything. And I don’t wanna go back to a place where the bartender is mad and the cooks are mad when you ask them for a side of pickles I don’t really think there’s anything easier to do in a restaurant, but I guess that was too much for them To handle. I gave three stars for atmosphere because I sat next to an extremely nice couple so they helped him so my entire experience...

WOW! Where do I begin? I guess, hey big fish in a little pond, not a good image! I have been here several times, and ok at best. Had a little time and was hungry, figured why not, it's close and there isn't anything else close by. Bad decision! Started well with the girls in the front, didn't end that way! Relatively busy, but found a spot at the bar after 10ish minutes. Bartender started ok, but then zero attention. Had to ask to order while she was playing on her phone and sneared over her glasses and said, "I'll be with you in a minute" and went back to her phone. Hmmm... ordered food, semi promptly arrived and it was definitely not what I expected, actually, inedible! Didn't say a word, nor did the bartender after noticing this less than adequate meal(?) was left to get cold in front both of us. Finally she may have taken notice when my glass was empty for quite sometime and decided to ask if I wanted anything else or a box. Two Brothers Always has amazing specials. The service is fantastic. My son was over staying his welcome at the table and I asked the food we just ordered to be to go right away. They were on top of it. Had the food Ready and packed up in no time so this Mom could be stress free. Another time I had called because I noticed the seating wasn't super handicapped. My boyfriend in a power wheelchair and can't get between the booths. The restaurant sent me a message and told me to call ahead of time and they would situate one of the tables so we could try to eat there. Now that is great service. My whole family ❤️ this place.
