Sweet Rice Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Salem

This restaurant is flat out DANGEROUS.... if my original review was not bad enough where they could have killed a family member - our local Towns social media page alerted us to this restaurants DANGEROUS activity yet again. Someone in Town found pieces of METAL in their food. Attempted to call and alert them to this dangerous problem and was hung up on multiple times. Then they would answer the phone, not say anything and put the phone on the counter to the point they could hear them talking in the background. The State of Connecticut and the Health Department need to come in and shut them down! Beware eating here, you are putting your life and your family's life at risk!

The negative reviews of this eatery are 1000% accurate! Take your money elsewhere where you will not be robbed or they will try to make you ill or kill you! Asked for an order of PLAIN rice, got some awful fried rice, and an order of one vegetable for a very ill family member who has now passed. Did not get everything that was ordered, I called to tell them and to say to make my order again and I got hung up on. Called back to speak to owner explained again and he hung up on me. I called again and right from the start yelling at me and hung up again. I called a 4th time to inform them that I will be stopping payment. This place used to be good. Today, November 11, 2021, I ordered the General Tsao's chicken and it was the most disgusting dish I ever had. I don't think it was real meat. It was spongy and wet and looked like a processed meat like what you see in cheap chicken tenders that were soaked in water before cooked. It had no density whatsoever, it was like a wet sponge.
