Troy and the team at Ramar are the ones you want to have on your side if you’re planning an event. We had the honor of working with them for our wedding at Senate Garage on 11/16 and they really helped our vision come to life. We initially didn’t have much budget to work with as lighting was something we added on later in our journey. Most lighting vendors turned us away, but Troy listened and understood our concerns and helped us craft a lighting package that would still pack a punch, yet remain cost effective for us. He even threw in some free tube lights!

We got to see a small preview of the lighting at our rehearsal but nothing prepared us for what the final product looked like the night of. Troy and his skilled team of techs took creative liberty over our venue while never diminishing or overpowering the natural beauty of the space. The lighting was consistent and elegant, while providing an upbeat energy that flowed and synced with the music of the band. It was precisely what we talked about in our first call and more! One of our favorite things they added in was the pro bono tube lights. Not only did they hang them from the ceiling, but Troy and his team made sure that they were also compositionally laid out to complement our band and created an entire backdrop that really transformed our whole venue to the point which we never dreamed of. They looked like huge candle sticks instead of just dance lights and they really matched with the warm and romantic tone of our wedding. It was awesome and was a talking point the whole night!

It was a pleasure getting to know you a little over the planning period for our party and a true delight to be the recipient of your wonderful lighting design and sound on September 28th.

I have heard from so many guests that they thought it was the best party ever/one of the very best/the best in Millbrook/the best in decades/in years, and many mentioned the decor, the atmosphere and the lighting, plus the music in addition to the delicious and inventive food. Thanks to the way you transformed the tent with your lighting, we were able to go all out and turn ourselves in to a pop-up Asian Fusion happening, a multi-cultural event.
