This has been my go to store for my shipping needs and amazon returns, but perhaps not anymore.
I went in to return an amazon package, previously, the employees have always printed out the label for me free of charge and I actually appreciated that gesture of kindness and convenience. This time though, the lady said it was one dollar to print it.
I was taken aback, because of my previous experience at the same store and told them that I was surprised as I have never had to pay for it.
Paying for it was not a problem, even though the prince was a bit steep.
But things got weird then. Another man working with a different customer said that 'they sometimes did it for free'. Then he asked me to describe the employee who has been giving me freebies telling me that he was a good employee and has been doing that for some time now.
I didn't care, after all that man had indeed helped me in the past, and I said, well don't you put up a sign saying that label printing is chargeable, it is a simple matter of providing clarity and setting expectations.
The ans I got was even weirder, they said they can't do that because they sometimes print it for free and want to keep that policy. I have no idea what they meant, it looked like if they liked the customer's face they did it for free. Sounds like discrimination to me.
There were other customers in the store listening to the conversation as well and were all equally taken aback.
Well, I paid for it, but I didn't get a receipt.

Read moreI have had a mailbox and account at this location for at least 7 years. I rarely write reviews, but after reading some of the negative reviews I had to enter a positive one. One of the staff members has changed in the past several months and they are all very helpful and friendly. I receive all my mail and packages there. It is safer than my residence mailbox. I also do all of my returns at this location. If they can't provide a proof of drop off due to type of package, they prompt me to take a photo of the tracking label. I had to locate a package tracking from over a year ago and they took the time to locate it on my account. Read moreMy package was delivered to this store without my request. Apparently there was a mistake with how UPS processed my package. However, due to this mistake by UPS, UPS Klahanie store REFUSED to release my package to me unless I paid them a fee. Excuse me? That's right, because of UPS' mistake, I have to pay a fee to get my package. That is utterly unacceptable. Instead--I will have them return the package to UPS for further processing. Now they get nothing except badwill, and I have a massive headache. This store clearly doesn't understand the value of working through issues with customers.
