Great Local Butcher! We read the reviews and wanted to see for ourselves. I wanted to try most of the meats before reviewing and everything was great. We grabbed the Rancher Pack and (4) additional chicken breasts. The rancher pack comes with (2) - 12oz ribeyes, (2) - 12oz NY strips, 3lb roast, 5-(1lb) chuck, 3lbs of pork chops, 3lbs of pork(Country Ribs), 2lbs of Bacon, 2lbs (German or Italian Sausage) and 1 cut up fryer. Ground Beef/Sirloin had a great flavor and was not ‘stringy’ like you sometimes get from the grocery store. Bacon did not shrink and was great. Ribeyes were great! Chicken was top notch - no woody/weird textures we’ve seen with other chicken from the grocery store. This is only talking about the quality; the owners were great. We walked in and they made us feel welcome and were patient as we asked about what might be a good option for selection for us. Came here from a quick Google search looking for a quality butcher or meat market. HEB did not have the Prime Rib cuts we were looking for so we went on the hunt. Came here 30 minutes prior to closing the night before Christmas Eve and Arnold was very helpful.

He gave us a beautiful and delicious Prime Rib. It had the perfect marbling to the meat. We also picked up a few lamb shanks and Arnold threw in a free bag of Beef Jerky. All of the meats were delicious and better than any local grocery store.

I would highly recommend this shop for anyone looking to locally source their meat, support small business, and just get better quality.

We sent our son here to get some steaks. We had just purchased a new gas grill for the season and thought we would have steaks for dinner. He came home with three steaks and told us the price. Wow! We thought they were a little pricey. You know, maybe they were but they were also the best steaks we have had since we've moved here almost 20 years ago. Well worth the price. They were three HUGE porterhouse steaks and the tenderloin was larger than the strip! The taste was just amazing and we just seasoned them with salt and pepper.
