Horrible service is an understatement!!! I have never had such terrible service at one place and given them a second chance only for them to mess it up AGAIN! My first experience with this location was I drove up for a regular oil change and presented my coupon they had mailed me in the mail. During the service, I was told if I would like to have my air filter replaced for an additional charge (it was in the summer so I said yes). Afterwards, I go to pay and am told by the cashier if I would like a receipt I would have to wait a few more minutes . This sounded sketchy so I insisted on waiting for the receipt. Once I received it, I proceeded to drive to the parking lot at the outlet next door to review the receipt. Not only did they not give me the coupon discount, they didn't even bother to print out the Next Service date sticker my car. When I returned, the manager told me he could only reverse the transaction, charge me for the discounted price, but that the funds from the FIRST NON-DISCOUNTED PRICE would not be available for a few days due to the bank. As a former bank employee I understood but was irate that THEIR SCREWUP was going to impact my finances. Since I'm a professional and attend church regularly, I decided to go back TODAY for my next oil change and let me tell you I AM NEVER GOING BACK. This oil change was done within a few minutes and everything seemed in order, however, when the cashier was reading off to me what had been done; he again asked if I wanted a receipt. OF COURSE I DO! When I reviewed the receipt it indicated that my WASHER FLUID had been replenished, and it WAS NOT. When I pointed this out to the cashier, he stood by what he said and said it had been replenished. When I continued to PHYSICALLY POINT OUT that the washier fluid tank was visible and was visibly only a quarter full, he had no comment. When I showed him my MAINTENANCE ICON WAS STILL FLASHING SAYING MY WASHER FLUID WAS FULL, he said he would have to check with the technician. I said you know what, your full of lies. I drove off. Read moreI stopped by this Valvoline location since it was closer than my regular San Antonio Valvoline location...let me say that I now have a new "regular" location. Mateo was the service technician that helped me and he was awesome. I never write reviews, but I felt I had to to acknowledge the job these guys did today. My normal location has 3 bays and normally takes 35 minutes to do an oil change...I was a little apprehensive since this is a 2 bay location, but these guys had me in and out for my oil change in 15 minutes!! These guys seemed to enjoy their work and it is obvious the have fun while doing a great job at the same time. I met the manager Jermaine as well and I think all other Valvoline locations need to take a lesson from Jermaine on how to create an awesome team and fantastic customer service. I would generally hate to write a review about an awesome location since that means more people may start visiting the new location which might prolong my future visits, but if any team can handle the increased business without a problem itvis these guys! Read moreI’ve been a long time customer of this specific location, 20 plus years and we always come here for oil changes or inspections. Service was always great but this morning it was the worst. Went to get inspection and I was told that person who does inspections doesn’t get in till 10am. Ok, I’ll go somewhere else. Asked them to check my fluids and if oil needs to be replaced and they had some guy just look at it, closed the hood without saying anything to me, good or bad, checked my tire pressure and they said you’re good to go. Spoke with another guy asking him if my oil was good or if that guy even checked he said yes he checked!? So I know that windshield washer fluid needs to be filled because it was empty, have no clue what my oil looked like since no one showed me anything, and not to even mention that guy who was supposedly “checking the fluids”, left greasy fingers all over my hood. My car was washed just before I got here. I didn’t even realize that till guys from another place asked me if someone was messing with my hood. We’re never coming back to this location again.
