GameStop Military — Local services in San Antonio

I wouldn’t expect this from a GameStop on base but unfortunately the two employees there showed horrible customer service. I walked two miles to this GameStop to try to buy a game before it closed and with ten minutes to spare I get there. Once I arrived, the gate was half way closed but open enough so that someone can walk through. I proceeded to enter and the employees said they were closed. Mind you the hours of operation that they close is 1900 and I arrived at 1850! I went on to tell them that I just wanted to purchase a game and I already knew what I wanted, so I wasn’t going to waste their time since they were in a rush to close the store before it was supposed to be closed. They employees still told me that they were closed! I was beyond upset and walked away! I found their service to be very unprofessional. It really just depends who's working GameStop especially this location and a couple others have become let's see what we can sell you they don't really care what you need some employees are very dedicated to their job and love what they do and want to help and other people are just there to sell you what they can sell you and move you out and on to the next customer so it's split 50-50 in my opinion the store is always clean they're usually friendly sometimes they're a little bit Snappy but for the most part overall I would definitely say it's a three star their customer service could be a little bit better on the way they treat customers and the passion for what they do but that's...

Last time I was there, the guy who works there charged me for the warranty without asking me. Its only a dollar, but its trashy. A way to up his numbers. I might not have noticed, but he told me "Youre getting the warranty blah blah blah" as if it was a gift or something lol. Hipster looking guy with glasses. I wouldve reported him, but I left my receipt on the counter when I walked back in to call him on it.
