Panera Bread — Restaurant in San Antonio

My husband and I have gone here a few times since open. Last time we went, we ordered a soup and a drink at the window after sitting at the speaker for 10 minutes, and then waited in the drive thru for a total of 45 minutes for our food. Unfortunately, I had about 5 noodles and 2 pieces of chicken in my soup.

Today, I ordered lunch online. Yes, it was during a lunch rush but I waited just under an hour for my food to be ready. I ended up going home and waiting for them to send me a message to go back and pick up my food (we live on base).

Speaker at drive-thru is broken, I think. I sat for ten minutes without hearing a thing from it to verify my Sips order went through. Finally gave up and drove to the window, where the car in front of me still was. When I made it to the window, I asked the female about the speaker, and she said "Huh. Interesting. Did you need something?" .... well, yes, I want my drink at the very least, if not food. I ask for my drink, having already received verification that it's at this location and ready for pick up. She informs me they never received the order and to have a nice day.

It's soft-opening still... but I'll be avoiding this location for...

This place is off to a REALLLLLLLLLL bad start! Ordered a drink for pick up- ended up leaving without it cause they took FOREVER! It was one drink. 🤦🏼‍♀️

They should close and do some MAJOR training. Then open when they can serve the population in a timely manner.
