Scripps Ranch Village Shopping Center — Local services in San Diego

This center is super cute, but the owners keep modernizing the exteriors, which replaced the cozy wood exterior they used to have. While it looks newer, it's kind of lost its unique woodsy charm being set in the middle of the eucalyptus trees for which Scripps Ranch is famous. Not everything needs to looks the same, so it's sad to lose that personality for something that looks sterile and common. Tenants are decent, a nice little Starbucks, a smaller Vons, several banks, a great florist, a great gym, and several smaller stores and eateries. And it's nicely...

This is an upper middle class neighborhood shopping center that's really quaint and cute. It's got a cozy Mexican place and a very good local breakfast/lunch cafe next to a really cool Vons. There's also a nice Starbucks. The local restaurants are somewhat pricey since this is upper middle class, but they're still affordable. The breakfast cafe gets crowded really fast at certain times of the day. Makes a nice get away day staycation...

The people are friendly and cordial. The policies regarding access to your funds can be a bit obnoxious at times. But if everyone just dug a hole in their backyard and buried their cash they'd all be out jobs and the government couldn't spy on you. Hmmmm. Speaking of the Chase bank in the same shopping center.
