Jelyca truly puts the "personal," "color," and "analysis," in personal color analysis. Not only was she super personable, but she was very intentional about learning your specific color preferences. She offered helpful suggestions on how you can still wear your favorite colors, even if it doesn't quite fit in with your best color palettes. I did a 1:1 consult and we spent the majority of the time on draping a LOT of different colors. When I was researching different personal color analysis studios, it seemed like there could be some variation on the proportion of the time spent focusing on color draping. For instance, if they spend less time focusing on colors, they may spend more time on other aspects, such as makeup, nails, etc. Although Jelyca did go over foundation, hair colors, and different glasses frames, I do want to point out that the bulk of the visit focused on finding colors that best suit you :) However, with that being said, Jelyca does have the newest tools that objectively measures your skin tone characteristics, so you can use that information to guide your foundation color, makeup, etc. She also provided personalized handouts and wallet card-sized color palettes at the end of the visit, which included recommended colors for hair, lipstick, nails, etc. Jelyca is truly a wealth of information, and she is always constantly learning and leveling up her practice. I've always wanted to get a color analysis but I wanted my experience to be unique. So when I saw an ad for Timeless Tones & Co. on Instagram, I knew I had to book my appointment ASAP. I love that Jelyca uses a multi-system approach (blend of Korean, Japanese & American) because you cover all possible avenues and leave with so much knowledge.

I dye my hair and Jelyca tailored the experience to find the colors that complement my hair AND my features/skin tone. She was extremely sweet and very knowledgable. One thing I wanted to focus on was finding colors that give a powerful impression when I'm in a professional setting while leading a training/meeting.

Along with the color analysis, you receive a pocket-sized color guide and a custom makeup packet. I immediately went through my clothes and sorted my wardrobe by my seasons. The cards have been incredibly helpful and convenient when I'm shopping. I highly recommend Timeless...

If i could give 1000000+ stars I would! I had such an incredible experience during my color analysis consultation with Jelyca! I’ve known her for a a little while, so it was extra fun to sit down with her and go through the process. She is extremely knowledgeable about the topic and explains everything so thoroughly, which made the whole experience both fun and educational. She compared different swatches to my face and helped me discover the shades and tones that make me look my best. The information she gave me is something I’ll carry for life—I feel so much more confident knowing what colors truly flatter me.
