READ ME! I got a full set of nails, pedicure, and my eyebrows done. It was an older bald guy that did my nails which sucked. He did a terrible job in every way. The nails were rushed and thrown together. He did my nails while I was getting my pedicure, which is totally fine. But my pedicure was 45 min and my nails only 30 min for everything including drying. If you get your nails done you know that sounds impossible for a full set not a fill in. When he finished the skin on my fingers and the nails was glued together. The nails where super sharp underneath. I didn’t get a special shape like coffin or stiletto, basic square white tips!! If he couldn’t get basic white tips right for my ladies that like designs and shapes it’s a no go my friend. Then to top off everything when I asked for my fingers to be unglued he took my hand over a women who he was now working on and started filing the top of one of the nails... like what I’m talking about the skin on my fingers being glued to the nails sir!!!!! One older lady that goes pedicures then decided since he was busy she would fix it. She was very nice and helpful. She was just shaking her head clearly upset about having to fix his terrible attempt. Then she wiped the oil he continued to pour on my nails to hide the glue that dried white. She started talking in her language.. next thing I know they were going back and forth about my nails. Then he stormed over and snatched my hand and filed under my nails and put another clear coat on. Not to mention I have 4 layers of clear coat on. As far as the pedicure it was underwhelming. She cut me with the clippers and made me bleed a little which didn’t hurt but still come on. I just left that as karma for my feet looking rough since I hadn’t gotten my feet done in a whole month. My eyebrows was nice and neat the lady that does the eyebrows was very friendly. I read some reviews that said the offer beverages but I was asked 2 times what would I like and I said water both times.. guess what never got any water lol. Oh how could I forget he put on a fake nail to small for my thumb then tried to file my real nail to the size of the small...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer at Oliviana Nail Spa for over three years, and while the shop is beautiful and the technicians are for the most part very skilled, I’ve consistently had negative experiences when requesting adjustments and quality service. Today, I asked my technician to curve a nail that looked too flat, only to be told it was my finger, not the nail. I’ve been getting my nails done for over 15 years, so I know what to expect, and I know how they usually shape my nails here. Yet, instead of accommodating my request or even looking at the nail, the technician spoke about me in another language. When the owner came to check, as I started to show her she cut me off mid sentence and said, “Don’t be difficult.” The comment was so rude and uncalled for that the customer sitting next to me acknowledged it, and said that I did not deserve that.
As a paying customer who has to live with these nails for the next two weeks, I believe I deserve quality work and respectful service especially when I am respectful in any in all things that I say. This wasn’t the first issue I’ve had here. I have text messages where the owner acknowledged the behavior of one of her technicians, and apologized. On a previous visit, I had a broken nail that caused bleeding. Instead of cleaning and sanitizing the area, they tried to apply a new nail and powder over the blood. When I raised concerns about sanitation, they became defensive and raised their voices.
I took a break from coming here after that, but because they genuinely do good work, I gave it another chance. However, even excellent skill doesn’t justify being treated rudely and disrespectfully when you ask for a correction. My nails are not free—I am a paying customer, I have the right to respectfully ask for quality nail care , and deserve to be treated with professionalism.
Sadly, this will be my last time patronizing their business. It is unfortunate because they do good work, but most importantly this is the community in which I live, and I would love to support the businesses in my community. But if I will not at the risk of continuous...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed with the service I received at Olivia's Nail Spa today. Typically, I have had excellent experiences here, with staff who genuinely care for their customers, providing thorough and meticulous care for both manicures and pedicures. However, today's experience was drastically different.
The group of ladies working today did not offer the same level of service that I have come to expect. My pedicure felt rushed, and my concerns about the quality of the work were ignored. The nail polish was applied sloppily, showing a clear lack of care. To make matters worse, at the end of the service, the technician demanded a tip, questioning how I would tip if I were paying by card. Out of politeness, I tipped $5 on my card, but this felt inappropriate given the poor service.
Moreover, the cost of the pedicure was unexpectedly high. What normally costs $25 ended up being $42, including charges for sandals that are usually complimentary when the owner is present. I was charged an additional $2 for these.
I have always wanted to support local businesses, but this experience was a waste of my money and left me deeply disappointed. I hope this review will be taken into consideration and prompt changes at Olivia's Nail Spa. Unfortunately, I will be seeking nail services elsewhere...
