Banking with Commonwealth was something my mom has done forever, so when it was time for me to have a bank account, Commonwealth was the natural choice. What I like about them is the ability to access my accounts from anywhere, pretty much anytime. From my first savings account to my now multiple checking accounts, they have been able to accommodate me and my needs. Every once in a great while, they'll have a "system update" of sorts, reverting some of my account settings, but now I know to double check things here and again (Happened once in the 10 years I've been banking with them). Since they are a credit union, they are connected with other credit unions, making finding a fee-free ATM easy. Speaking of fees, there are no hidden fees - which is great. The first two times they’ve admitted the error was there’s-as my account has always been in good standing without any late payments. Yet, still every few weeks they report my account as delinquent, which dings your credit score by almost 100 points. Mind you, all of this is happening amidst COVID.
