I would typically give this place 4 stars. This rating is based on my last interaction. I needed a few cables, 100.00 worth. I try and support them whenever I can, I like having them around and they typically have things I need. It's important as a dj to be able to get things locally even if you pay a little more, it's a really nice convenience. Sales associate rang me up but punched in the wrong price on the cc machine. He needed an override to start over. He tells the manager this, he comes over grabs my credit card, sets it back down and proceed to help some guys that were looking to rent some equipment. The guys he went to help even said take care of him first, he ignored them. Started taking things out of boxes and looking for this and that, my simple purchase would have taken him 30 seconds to void so the other sale associate could get me out of there. I wait for a few minutes and after I could see he didn't care about me I went got the cables I need down the street at Guitar Center. I won't say I won't go back but that's one ding against them. With giant competitor down the street and really anything you want at your finger tips, internet, it should be really important for these mom and pa shops to give decent if not great...

I’m writing this review based on what I know of the owner. I’ve been with Marwan 15 plus years and he’s always had and will have my back with my equipment needs! I’ve read the negative reviews and all I can say to that is did you talk to Marwan the owner? On behalf of Pro Audio World I’m truly sorry that you had a unpleasant experience but I can assure you if you talk to the owner, he will go out of his way to make things right!! There’s nothing like a mom and pop business and it saddens me that we are not supporting the business model that is the backbone of our country! I’m a huge believer in customer service and follow up to the point of I will pay extra or drive the extra miles to support a business with the customer first, not the customer is always right business practice. I truly believe that there are times that a customer may not have all the information which could lead a miscommunication and or understanding but if you take the time that you put into finding a solution, I think you will find that your experience can turn out to be one...

The owner is such an awesome person! I would rate this place 6 stars if I could. I came in not knowing what I needed for cabling my mixer and PC for an event at a school. The owner let me take the necessary cable with options and offered to take the ones back I didn't use even if opened. Unfortunately I didn't need any as we fixed the problem in another way. I went back to the store and returned the cable and offered to pay for at least one of them . The awesome owner paid me back in full and took the opened cables too. I would come here for all my future lighting , audio and projections needs and would highly recommend others to give it a try. Nothing to lose with a...
