Sunrise Plaza Shopping Center — Local services in San Jose

We ordered our food at Tugboat fish and chips and they said food will be ready in 15 minutes so then we decided while we wait to go next door to Chavez taqueria and get my son's food since he wanted Mexican food and by the time chavez's food was ready it was 15 minutes so we go back to tugboat and there was a line so when we wanted to walk in and pick up our food the people in line said we had to wait at the back of the line to pick up and a worker came to the door and also said we had to wait to get our food so we were in line a total of 30 min on top of the 15 minutes when we ordered our food and by the time we got home the fish and chips were soggy and all of our food was cold 😫...we have been going here for 13 yrs and this was the worse customer service we have ever experienced they need to get it together and let the people who ordered on line pick up their food when they get there and not make them wait at the back of the line until others in line get to order their food! The strip mall its self is not bad and I love the Chavez Market but the outback there is absolutely horrible. It took forever to get a table even though they had plenty of empty tables. Service was extremely slow and poor! The chef was even worse! My daughter ordered mac and cheese from kids menu, server forgot about it until I memtioned it several minutes after everyone got their food... than we had to send it back because it was ice cold! My brother's pasta dish was dry cold hard noodles with no sauce and there was a funky smell in the entire restaurant. I give 3 stars because I like the Chavez Market but will never be going back to that...

Not good customer service. The cashier person seemed to be so disengaged. Didn't look like he wanted to be there. Maybe he was having a bad day but hey we all have them. It was my first time visiting and I would probably buy things from Amazon if Sports Basement does not have it.
