Dollar General — Local services in San Juan

I liked that they had plenty of supplies on shelves but they didn't have the apple pay , nor scan the barcode to purchase with. It's very important in today's world with all the existing technologies , having to pay with card chip or "BY PHONE", which was my situation at the time..( .lost my card, had no cash, I have "CASH APP Account" uploaded to my phone) and I could have paid by my bar code scan in my app, or shown the copy of my card and card info., To have them type in manually and would have been able to purchase the things I needed instead of wasting all the time spent shopping and then standing in line all that time ONLY TO LEAVE with NOTHING at all and it was to late at night to go find anywhere else...

Usually, I go to this particular location and I’m greeted by a friendly staff but yesterday there was a young manager named Joel who insisted I take my hoodie off. The problem with this was, it was cold outside and I’m bald so this is why I had it on but even worse.. there were other people in this store with hats and hoodies on. Now I understand that since I’m an African American male, there are certain stereotypes that come with me but like I said I was a loyal CUSTOMER (meaning I purchased items often from here). Superb lay out of the store. You have your foods to the right of the store, seasonal products in the middle isles and H&B(Health and Beauty) to the left. Those are just the first isles. I was there to get last minute items for Halloween like candies and snacks and wanted to avoid the huge lines at the bigger stores. Clean and very well organized. A little slow at the cashier only because the workers are busy keeping the store organized and charging...
