Wow! Best pan dulce or conchas I have tasted!!!! Better than Paris bakery!! Why am I barely finding out of this place??? Conchas are big and cost 25cents! So soft and amazing flavor. The heart shaped ojarascas type cookies were the best sugar cookies i have tasted in loooong time!!! The rest of items were just as delicious! I got over 10 piecws od bread for $12 woooow! In paris bakery its like 6 little conchas for $10!! The place doesnt look nice or have a/C looks like an old building but its worth the trip. No drive thru window. Growing up on La Especial I always swing by on my visits to the valley. Sweet bread in Corpus doesnt even come close. The old building's rustic feel lets you know you're home. There is an open and close time but that is dictated by when they run out of bread...and they consistently do which tells you a lot. Best times are 6-8 am or 1-3 pm. Thia bakery is amazing. May look old and run down but the community here in San Juan loves their bread. They are fast and friendly and if by chance you are in line when the bread first comes out the oven OMG it is heavenly to have a soft warm fresh conche with abuelitas chocolate or your favorite cafecito. Damn stop by you will see why. Dont worry about the long line it goes by fast. A bunch of us staryed outside in the rain but well worth it.
