Jet Food Stores Inc — Local services in Sandersville

The jet food store in Glennville Ga is great. I used to go out of my way to go there and see the smiling face of one of my favorite cashier's, Amber. Well that has all changed ever since I went into the store a few minutes beofre they were to close. My son walked in with me (He is 11yrs old). I couldn't find my card so I asked my son Aiden to run out to the car and get me some change. Mind you I was one of two people there. I was parked in the closest parking spot to the front door. Which happened to be the first one. Anyway I found my card about the time he leaned in the car. I was still standing near the door watching him. He closed my car door and went to open the stores door when Beth Kendel locked it right in his face. I was only a few steps away from the door so I walked over and said will you please let my son back in. Not only is it cold, it's dark. She said with a very smart tone, " He shouldn't be left alone by you anyway, he's not old enough." I said "Excuse me!? Please open the door for my son. He wasn't outside but for a minute total before she locked him out. She says " I can't open the door to let your son back in, it's against store policy, he shouldn't be left alone anyway. How old is he?" I said " That is none of your business, open the door for my son please. He wasn't alone until you locked that door." She refused to and continued to check out customer's. The only reason I didn't just call 911 is bc I didn't have my phone. You know a mother's worst fear is to have their children taken. And not knowing if they are being abused or tortured, or even killed. And Beth put my son in that harms way. By the time she could have waddled around the counter to unlock the door. Someone could be gone with my child. I think everyone should be upset by her behavior. And I thought she was rude and very cruel! I hope to God she doesn't put any more children in dangerous situations, like she did my son. I think she should be fired, and never allowed around customer's again. I now avoid The Jet Food Store at all costs. Just in case Beth Kendel is there. I personally love the Jet and the other employees there. E Hancock location. Is it true if i said $36 but my card only paid for $32, the cashier cannot cancel without making their drawer short? Thats what i was told. The lady helped me didn't know the difference from a breast or thigh, I get my order home and it was so cold that we threw it in the garbage and I had to go someplace so I could get something to eat.
