I'm a property & casualty catastrophe insurance adjuster in the field, and I don't have time to mess around with a mediocre machine. I told them what I needed to have on my laptop, I explained what programs I would be running, and the general use of the machine, for both business and personal use. They researched for a couple of days and they promised a machine. However, with today's limited availability, they were not able to get me that one they were looking for, but not only did they get me another machine with what I needed, but they paired me up with a better machine, with an additional amount of RAM at no additional cost. My friends, that's customer service ! Does anyone remember that word - Customer Service?
I have been an entrepreneur for most of my life, Customer Service is job one, in any field that you are in. If you can't deliver that, you're definitely off my list. This is the reason why I only shop at Higher Calling IT.

   Read moreMy Lenovo ThinkPad (only 14 months old) died Sunday at 4 pm. I had never had a computer go completely dead before, and I had no idea what to do. The Lenovo website listed Higher Calling IT as an authorized service center. I stopped in at 10:00am Monday morning, with no appointment. The representative immediately talked to me and assessed what was wrong. He immediately put me at ease that this was easy to fix, he would accelerate the shipping of the replacement part (under warranty so no charge), and have my computer ready to go tomorrow morning. Exactly 25 hours later, they called me and let me know that my computer was ready to pick-up. When I picked it up, they let me know that I would have to get a recovery key, and they told me how to do it. I was not able to test my computer until 6pm that night when I got home. When I went to fetch the recovery key, I had a question so I took a chance on calling Higher Calling IT, even though it was after-hours. Someone was working lake, picked up the call, and then said he would call me right back. 5 minutes later (again, after hours), he called me back and answered my question.
On Sunday night, I was worried about having to spend $2k on a new ThinkPad. By Tuesday, I was using my computer again like nothing happened. Thank you...

I called in a panic this morning after spilling A LOT of acetone on my brand new laptop. Sheri listened to my exasperated pleas for help and helped talk me through it. I told her my laptop model and she was able to tell me right away what kind of money it would cost to fix the keyboard. Since I stated some of the keys are sticky, but everything else is working she recommended I can keep using it, to my IMMENSE relief. She did caution me problems may arise later if the acetone seeped into any places it could do damage, but to keep an eye out. She did say if that did happen, the cost of repair may outweigh the cost of the computer, which is hard to hear- but she is very honest and upfront. I'm going to keep chugging along and not remove my nail polish near my computer...
