The Suit Co — Local services in Santa Ana

I was initially hesitant to come in, as I had never gone suit shopping before. Our plan was simply to browse. However, Jorge was incredibly helpful and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. Thanks to his outstanding customer service, we ended up purchasing both a tuxedo and a suit.

Unfortunately, our experience during the pickup was not as positive. The service from a different employee assisting us at that time did not meet our expectations—especially considering the amount of business we have provided. Additionally, we did not receive a shirt with the second suit, which I believed was included based on the promotional signage. The window advertisement indicated that with the purchase of a suit, a shirt and tie would be included, and that a second suit would be half off. That promotion was one of the main reasons I decided to proceed with the second suit.

We were also told that we would not receive a garment bag for the suits unless we purchased one for $10, even though we had initially been given a complimentary red bag for the tuxedo. At that time, we left the bag behind so they could use it to match the measurements for the gray suit. However, when we returned to pick everything up, we were not given the red bag. It appeared that it had been reused for other customers, which was disappointing considering it was originally provided to us. Given the amount spent—over $300—I was disappointed by this detail, especially when I expected a higher level of quality and service.

While Jorge truly went above and beyond, and is the reason this review is a 3.5 out of 5, I am hesitant to return or recommend the store based on the overall experience. However, if this situation is made right, I would be open to returning and continuing to bring business...

I did a little research looking for a tailor to get some pants hemmed. The Suit Co. came up with glowing reviews, and I decided to check them out as I needed a few pairs done asap. I sent an appointment request via Yelp and was told to just walk in. There was a wedding party in the store when we arrived. We were not greeted when we entered the store (no problem, being busy with customers is usually a good thing!) Finally had someone acknowledge us (about ten minutes later), then waited around some more before they were ready to assist.

We were there just to get some pants hemmed. Nothing fancy. We went into the fitting room to try on the pants, then came out expecting to get fitted. I was then told that they don't have time for us. We walked out and decided to take our business elsewhere.

After communicating with Abel (via Yelp), I was told that they don't take appointments and only work as a first come first serve basis. I'm baffled as to why a company that sells suits (and obviously caters to wedding parties) does not take appointments. I'm equally baffled at the lack of employees working the floor on a Sunday afternoon. It just does not...

Hands down the best customer service I have ever received at any suit shop from Temecula to Santa Ana. Yes I had to drive an hour and a half, but after experiencing horrible service at a local shop in Temecula I decided to see what options I had. After many searches and phone calls, I decided to try out The Suit Company. Anas exceeded my expectations from start to finish. From finding me the perfect suit for my occasion, to hooking me up with all of the little extras I needed to complete my outfits. Anas went above and beyond. I went in for one suit and left with three. The price for one suit were at a great price already, but I even received a better deal on three. I was extremely happy with the customer service that I chose to have all of my tailoring done by their in-house tailor. It was done fast and tailored professionally.
