Terrible experience living here for a year. Premium price for subpar place, and landlord doesn't care about anything except his profit. Very noisy due to thin walls and terrible windows. It gets very hot inside and there's no place to hang out outside. The views seem nice when touring but once settled in you realize the windows are terribly placed. Maintenence guy is great but landlord doesn't give him time/budget to do a good job. Out of my 12 month lease, 2 months I had no drywall in the living room for them to install "sound proofing", which didn't work at all. Another 1.5 months I was without hot water, stove, and heat because of electrical issues. And another 2 months was loud with construction. In addition, when I moved in place was dirty and I had to thoroughly clean. I cleaned at move out and left the place better than I found it, and landlord said no problem upon move out. 2.5 months later I finally get the deposit back to find he charged me a cleaning fee. I've been renting from Ocean view for about 5 months now and the experience has been amazing. They're always responsive via email or phone if we ever need anything. The place we're living in is expensive like the previous reviewer mentioned, but that's ebcause this is Santa Barbara. Honestly I think the spot we got from them is a bit under priced for the market. Scary, think Arachnophobia+termites+ ants coming from the floor. Lived here a few years ago and still have nightmares.
