Cruzio Internet — Local services in Santa Cruz

I’ve rented a lot of offices in the past- but Santa Cruz county is the weirdest pocket in the Bay Area- if you are within this county- your upload and download speeds will be 6mps on average. This seems insane since, as a small business owner I’ve been asked to go national several times over and the proper network has been built within the Midwest but not here- I told everyone to pause, let me figure out a solution, let me grow the company organically and work out our horrifying and archaic upload and downloads in order to grow as a national team.

After much begging it turns out they can’t just build a fiber network within my few city blocks of my home address. After discovering this with tech, I decided to rent my local team a hub to communicate without awful throttling in the cruzio building in downtown Santa Cruz.

Immediately my entire team got more productive and freed up more hours a day and instantly grew. We grew so much, we quickly outgrew the closet office we rented and needed a site.

The staff/owners/ everyone- rallied around our team, and assisted us to upgrade our suite at an affordable price that fits the entire team. They invested and took a bet on our team ensuring we grow. We plan to keep reinvesting and buying more suites as we grow and always support this local company.

Thank god for cruzio as we’ve grown- they are our partner and will make sure they keep growing with us. Our entire team is greatful and can’t wait to see where we are collectively in...

Fantastic service from Cruzio. We are new to Santa Cruz and wanted to avoid AT&T and Comcast and their inferior broadband services. Our apartment building is certified for Cruzio fiber internet service so we signed up. It has been a wonderful experience since my first call to order the service. Everything was clear and organized. We scheduled the installation a month in advance because of our travels and Cruzio was very reliable and punctual to come on the agreed upon day to do the installation. The technicians that came were very nice and knowledgeable, because the building is "certified" for Cruzio it took less than 30 minutes to get Internet service up and running in our condo. (For those interested in the technical details the fiber terminates at the telecom closet in the building and a from the ethernet switch there are Cat6 cables to the units) The provisioning was easy and I installed our own WiFi router in the condo (Cruzio provisions service to an Ethernet RJ45 jack on the wall) Every aspect of working with Cruzio was a pleasurable experience....

Just switched over and loving the wireless pro service. Since fiber seems a distant dream, I thought I'd go local and so far so good! The install (and installers) were top notch, and Jesus has been awesome with my questions before/after. I'm loving this local privacy conscious no cap company!!!

Update: Sometimes you'll hear the honeymoon first review, and then nothing else. Well, here is something else! I had some trouble with speed. It was intermittent and could have been maddening if it weren't for their support staff. David was awesome. It always felt like he and the rest of Cruzio cared and took the issue seriously. We worked together through the problem, he kept me informed on what they were looking into, and their talented team found the issue and replaced a piece of defective equipment and brought me up to full speed....
