St. Pius X Catholic Church — Local services in Santa Fe Springs

Bishop Marc Trudeau occasionally comes to celebrate Mass here and its wonderful to hear him. My family and I found this Parish after having moved to the area from Long Beach. We joined this parish in 2015. We were immediately recognized as newcomers and welcomed to the parish by Father Art. He has become beacon of positivity, and the link that reinforced our Faith in God.  He was really there for me when I struggled before & after my brother's passing.  4 years later, He took his time to go and visit my mom in her final days before she passed, anointing her, and having her final confession, which I believe in my heart,  really gave my mom so much peace.  I cannot say enough wonderful things about this Parish, The Pastor, as well as the School. The School  Principal, Mrs. Haigh, is amazing; She has done so much for the students and the community, working tirelessly on funding to renovate the school campus and enrich the daily lives of the students. The Church that does not renounce evangelization and supports all the charisms that serve this Church “go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Truly great are the works of the Lord. This church does not actually care about its parishioners or their needs. I needed a form filled out for candidacy to become a godparent. I attend Mass here and my daughter attends the parish school. Well I tried to ask to have the form filled out, the office manager didn’t even come out to greet me or even look over the form. Instead I just received a nope we don’t do that here and that the father doesn’t allow us to fill out forms and then a real sarcastic sorry via intercom. I’m lost as to what to do now because this is (well I’m clearly rethinking things now) the church I go to. I’m very...
