This Walgreens often disappoints. I have never written a google review before, but my last experience was my last straw. I had an Rx that my doctor submitted to the pharmacy on a Wednesday. I needed the medicine ASAP. Walgreens online says there's a delay and I had no further action, so I assumed it would be resolved within a day. Two days pass and I still really needed the medicine (which, again, I should have gotten on Wednesday) so I decide to call. I call three times. Each time, I'm on hold for 30 minutes and then after it rings a few times, they hung up on me. So I go in in person. When I get there, I ask about the issue and they're able to fix the issue that caused the "delay" quickly (meaning they could have done it on day one) but now they inform me the medicine is out of stock. They gave me attitude when I asked how long it would it take (two additional days) and were then mad at me / short with me when I asked if they could check at other Walgreens. They didn't check with other Walgreens, by the way. I do not plan on using this location any more. May even switch to CVS.
Update: had to come here one last time to get one final Rx placed a while back and it’s unbelievable how slow this place operates. The line was 3 people long and I was there for 30 minutes. The people ahead of me didn’t have complicated requests. That’s how long it takes. I was in and out of another pharmacy for the Rx walgreens didn’t have in stock...
Read moreThis is quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I know retail pharmacies are overworked and understaffed, and I am very sympathetic to people working to perform such a valuable service, but it comes to a point where it places an extremely undue burden on people who need their medication. When I call to fill my prescription every month, I am met with a range of frustrating hurdles each time, from being on hold to over 15 minutes to being hung up on and having to call back, and usually it’s both. I cannot fill my prescription online and calling is my only option aside from physically visiting the store. The pharmacy is CLEARLY short staffed and it affects the quality of patient interactions to an extreme degree. The wait times are egregious. Medication is something no one should have to work so hard to obtain, and the Walgreens corporation clearly does not care enough about their pharmacists, staff, or patients to ensure any kind of normalcy in the store. I don’t know if the management at this location is particularly bad or if all Walgreens have gone down such a dark path, but if I could use another pharmacy I would walk over broken glass to do so to avoid coming...
Read moreOriginally did not have a good experience here about a month or so ago, but have had a really good experience the last couple of weeks! Shauna (always has the best eyeliner) is the best pharmacist ever and is always willing to work with customers to make sure they get what they need in a timely manner. Also, she is able to help out both QUICKLY and KINDLY (I've gone to the pharmacy only at peak times - lunchtime & rush hour), even when some of my prescriptions had confusing insurance stipulations, she did a fantastic job calculating what quantity I could get in order to save both time and money.
A month and a half back, another pharmacist made me wait an hour and a half (even had to wait when nobody was there) bc I had just moved there and was new to just this location (been a Walgreens customer for about 10 years so really there was no excuse for this service given all my prior history IS in the system). Anyways, this pharmacy now operates super smoothly and I am so glad whatever changes they made (pharmacy staff or otherwise) is really working out! Psyched now that this can be my...
