My vote for the #1 Mattress Store in Los Angeles / Santa Monica / Venice Area. With the most genuine and experienced employees, bar none!

I am not a "yelper", but these guys deserved a review.

The owner of Mattress Home & Style, Chris, is exactly the type of individual I wanted to speak with when looking to make an investment in a mattress.

I overanalyze everything, so naturally, over the last two weeks, I spent over 15 hours laying on at least 50 different beds in over 8 different locations, and walking into Mattress Home & Style was a breath of fresh air.

At Mattress Home & Style there was no pressure, no fake "deals ending today", no pretend "checking with my manager on pricing". I work in sales, and at various other stores I had picked up on the various sales "tactics". This only made me doubt what they said and made me question their motives which seemed misaligned with mine.

Look for Chris, he is usually the one in the Santa Monica office. His experience working in mattress manufacturing for what sounded like most of his career allowed him to genuinely walk me through the various materials, their value, and their pros/cons. On top of that, he knows the industry and was able to speak about different brands, how they've changed, cut corners, or improved their technology. He even said "I won't let you buy that, you won't like it", wow! He even unzipped one of the mattresses so I could see how the different zones were set up!

He had many different brands and even specialty brands I wasn't seeing at other stores. I tried out a lot of them, again I over-analyze everything, the brands I recall were Aireloom, Posh+Lavish, King Koil, BeautyRest, and Serta.

My favorites were Aireloom, Posh+Lavish, and King Koil. Aireloom and King Koil are the highest quality, Posh+Lavish was a new brand for me, they were all latex and it felt like I was on a springy cloud which I preferred over the sinking or claustrophobic cloud-like feeling from memory foam. I went with the King Koil California King - Ultra Plush Euro Top mattress.

If you are still reading...I can't recommend them enough. Their patience, experience, and showrooms allowed me to take my time, overanalyze, and make an informed and comfortable decision for my next +3,650 nights of sleep.

5 Star rating for great reason! This was the absolute best experience I've had at any of the past 6 mattress stores I visited in the past couple of weeks. My wife and I are complete opposites when it comes to firmness levels and we started at Sleep Number, then a couple of Sit n Sleep stores since they didnt all carry the same demo models. Then we tried a couple mattress firms. The one thing they all had in common was the pressure to buy. I came into this shop looking for a specific brand do demo since this was the only store in LA that had a floor demo for DreamCloud and John was more than helpful! Not once did he egg me on to buy anything or try and get me started on paperwork (like sit n sleep, who wanted me to put in a deposit for a bed we liked as we thought about it). He left options open for me to choose to keep shopping around. Since it was just myself without my wife I had to be as descriptive as possible with our preferences and he quickly pointed to a bed and said we'd love this one. The BedGear M3. It was a modular bed that can have customized firmness's on either side without the need for air. I was sold on how breathable and cooling it was as we're both hot sleepers. I Told John this was the winner and I'd come back in 5 days with my Wife so she can test it out. John took down my number so that he can get a nice deal going with his manager Anthony and sure enough later that day I got called with an amazing deal much better than what Bedgears website has going on. Fast forward 5 days and we met with Jake since John was off. Jake was also very pleasant to work with and even brought the price down lower since I showed him an Adjustable bed frame that was half the price. He couldnt match half the price but he did bring it down enough to where I was comfortable paying for the more expensive adjustable base with a better warranty. Overall it was the best purchasing experience on one of the most important purchases you'll ever make. I'll be sure to update this review for any changes to my experience after the white glove delivery. If this remains unchanged, then assume the delivery and setup was also an equally...

I never thought I would rave about a mattress store or mattress salesman, but here I go...Months ago my husband and I walked into the Santa Monica store to try out mattresses for a bed we were buying out of state. Chris the owner was very helpful and kind and told us he would even ship out of state if we found something at his store that we liked. We needed to think about it and look around and he was never pushy, but gave us his name and number to call if we needed anything. Fast forward about 6 months - the bed we thought we were going to use in out house in WY ended up at our house here in Los Angeles and we found ourselves pressed to buy a King mattress for it. After the nice experience we had with Chris the first time, I decided to go back to Mattress Home & Style. After calling Chris, he suggested I go to the store on Pico where Anthony helped us. We had the same excellent, no high-pressure assistance from Anthony, who was every bit as nice and knowledgeable as Chris. After trying several mattresses and finding my "dream mattress," I did have to think about it and discuss it with my husband. Anthony offered me a great deal and never made me feel like I had to hurry to make a decision before the offer went away - quite the opposite actually. We also had several beds in our home that needed to be disassembled and moved around to accommodate the new bed, and they recommended a company they've worked with for years. The movers (from iTruck) also did an incredible and careful job of moving as reassembling everything, and taking excellent care not to damage anything. I can't speak highly enough about this experience from start to finish! From the quality of mattresses, to the competitive prices, excellent staff and customer service, right down to the movers, it was top notch...
