They sold me a puppy that I told them IN ADVANCE MULTIPLE TIMES was going to be MY LITTLE SISTER'S first puppy ever. As soon as we got him home and took him outside, he pooped straight blood. I rushed him to the animal ER, Oklahoma Veterinary Specialists to be exact (the only place that was open near me on a Saturday) and he tested positive for PARVO. The vet told me she he was so sick that there was no way the shelter staff didn’t notice something. The doctors said I COULD TRY bringing him back to the shelter on Monday when they opened to see if they would do anything about it, but they made it very clear that they had serious doubts he would even survive the next two days. We absolutely couldn’t stand the thought of him suffering like that, so MY LITTLE SISTER (who should have never had to go through something like that BC SHE DID NOT DESERVE THAT AT ALL!!!) and I had to make the heartbreaking choice to put him down that day because the treatment fees were OVER $4000. The shelter was also ignoring all of mine, my fathers (who's same last name comes up when we call), and all of the vet's phone calls to them. (CALLS THAT WE WERE MAKING WHILE WE KNEW THEY WERE OPEN!! we just didnt have enough time to drive all the way back there from where we were from) I then messaged the shelter on Facebook explaining the whole incident to them and got a call from the supervisor. She acted heartbroken and told me I’d be refunded for both the vet fees and adoption fee. I believed her. Now, three weeks later, she emailed me back completely going back on her word, saying they won’t refund the medical costs for the SICK, DYING puppy they knowingly sent home with me.
This place sold me a puppy who suffered horribly, ignored multiple MULTIPLE phone calls made to them, lied about helping make it right, and left me with the bill. NEVER again will I do business here, and I’ll make sure nobody I know...
Read moreI've been looking at adopting a cat. I saw one cat there that I liked. So I went in to see him. When I walked in I was greeted by very friendly staff. I told them I was in to see Tori. Then they brought me back to see him. I played with him and his brother. But Cletus the love bug in the cage above wouldn't stop pawing and meowing for me. So I started loving him. Then Harvey came out and I started loving him too. Well, let's just say they are coming home soon with me. I went back in the next week to spend time with them. They greeted me with a smile and when I said I was there to spend time with Cletus and Harvey and give them treats. They became very happy cause I was there to show them love and their cats too. So you need to stop by and find your forever fur baby. They have so many beautiful, loving fur babies waiting on you. If you can't adopt right now. Ask how you can help them help the animals. Cause animals rely on us...
Read moreI adopted a cat from this place and the cat is super sweet but when I took him he got sick so I had to get some medicine for him. Then after I took him back to get neutered and he is now sick again not eating and then the lady was rude just said we had to take him to a vet and he did not get sick from this place. He was fine beforehand and the animals were mostly all sickly looking from the animal shelter. Rather than giving my cat medicine they would rather just me surrender him but I will be taking him to a vet but I do not...
