This is MY LOVE Jack. He will be turning 13 December 26. He was a rescue dog. He was found living on the street with homeless people. He suffered a lot of abuse because of that he's a bit defensive with people and sometimes lashes out and bites. I take him to the salon every three weeks for a bath Then I have him groomed the following weeks.. I do this because I want Jack to learn to mingle with people and not be fearful. this place is not your ordinary salon. knowing what his past has been like they go the extra mile and pay a lot of attention to him to help me attain my goal. When you walk through the door of the salon, you have a clear vision of the place and can see exactly how everyone is working with all the animals.. They don't hide anything . The a lot of places work behind closed doors and you don't know what is going on. I bring Jack in for a 7:30 in the morning appointment and I have until 5 o'clock in the afternoon to pick him up. There is no extra charge for doing this. Jack gets plenty of exercise mingle in with all the dogs. When you need to be flexible, they're right there willing to work with you. When we arrive and I open up my car door, Jack runs to their door, anxious to go inside. That alone tells you that this is the place to be for your pet.. Look at this beautiful picture of Jack. They gave me yesterday for the holidays . This place may be a little bit more expensive than others, but you know the old saying you get what you pay for. For me, I want only the best for my Jack. Thank you, Sarasota dog saloon for all...

I have been taking my dogs, Eddie and Churchill, to The Sarasota Dog Salon for three years now, and every visit reaffirms why we keep coming back. The salon offers a spotlessly clean and inviting environment that makes both pets and pet owners feel at ease. The staff are consistently warm and welcoming, always ready to greet Eddie and Churchill by name, which is a lovely personal touch that does not go unnoticed.
The level of care and detail in the grooming services at The Sarasota Dog Salon is unparalleled. The groomers are adept at handling any requests and are particularly good at soothing my sometimes anxious Churchill while sprucing him up to look his best. Eddie, who can be a bit picky, always ends up looking great and feeling comfortable. Their expertise and gentle handling are why we have entrusted them with our dogs' grooming for years, and we always look forward to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn Aug 12 2021, upon dropping off my 6yr old neutered husky I told the groomer that I found blood stain on my car seat after the previous grooming. She brushed it off by saying she never trimmed the paw hair and that my dog might have stepped on some sharp objects in the parking lot. I said of course I wanted the paw hair to be trimmed and that she should be more careful. When I picked my dog up later that day the groomer told me there's some bleeding in the paws, callus related. when I got home I found way more blood stain on my car seat. I quickly checked my dog and saw the dew claw on his right almost totally chopped off, hanging only by some skin. Anyone who knows anything about dogs knows how serious this is. I had to stop the profuse bleeding and rush the dog to the vet. What kind of groomer will cut off a dew claw? What kind of human being will try to cover up instead of getting the dog treated as soon...
