Truly fantastic! My favorite tacos I’ve ever had. Fresh, authentic, excellent quality, and very reasonable prices. The serving size is generous too! There’s plenty of goodness in their tacos. They do not skimp. My personal favorite is their shrimp taco, served with pico de gallo, red cabbage, your choice of sour cream or mayonnaise (I HIGHLY recommend the mayo), fresh cilantro and salsa verde. It’s a perfect workday lunch. I always stop when I’m in the area. They have Mexican street corn served in a cup and it’s so flavorful and delicious, plus it’s a massive amount. Their consommé is to die for. The chicken tacos are phenomenal. Make sure to try the pastor! Basically anything you order will probably be the best you’ve ever had. Quick, friendly, and inexpensive! I look forward to going as often as I can. These are literally the BEST TACOS I have ever had in my life, consistently. The plating is great too, served with grilled onions, radish slices, a roasted pepper and a lime wedge. They also have amazing tortas and burritos. It’s good for the soul! Fire Tacos proves that even a tiny kitchen-in-a-truck can prepare dishes that are big on flavor and even bigger on value. We arrived today at 12:30 p.m. to find a line of six people ahead of us. The sun was broiling — 92 in the shade — but we knew the food would be well worth the wait, even in the heat. In less than 10 minutes we were savoring our scrumptious tacos in the comfort of our air-conditioned car: two shrimp for me ($3 each) and two chicken for my sister ($2.50 each). I don’t think we spoke a word to one another until we had finished our last bites! We agreed that the tacos were every bit as delicious as the quesadillas and burritos we had ordered there before. Fire Tacos offers plenty of meat options for carnivores and vegetable choices for those who prefer plant-based foods. I’ve been going to Fire Tacos for the better part of 7-8 years. It has really gone downhill the last 2-3 years. Just bought 4 corn tortilla tacos and large nachos. All 4 corn tortillas with my tacos were horribly stale. Could bare bite through them. The edges of the corn tortillas were inedible. Furthermore, they only put about 1 tablespoon of meat inside and barely any cilantro. On three of the tacos, I took the meat off and ate it on the side of chips I ordered, which were also stale, and threw the corn tortillas in the trash. The meat front he taco literally only fit on 1 chip each. The place was packed and I think that’s part of the problem. They’re so busy, they just don’t care anymore.
