Complete Air & Heat, Inc. — Local services in Satellite Beach

Our first interaction with Complete Air and Heat in Satellite Beach was four or five years ago when we found ourselves sweltering in our Beach Side condo that we’d purchased one year earlier. We are strong believers in paying for the knowledge behind a product, rather than just trying to find the lowest price, but we found that Complete offered both. We were able to purchase a quality product with a 10 year warranty at a very competitive price. Fast forward to 2020, and a Covid challenged world when trying to find parts, appliances or various building materials was a nightmare, and we found ourselves with a newly purchased rental unit that needed a new air conditioner.... The home warranty that we’d purchased exacerbated the nightmare, but Complete came to the rescue again. Within just one week from my initial phone call, a new ten year warranted air conditioner was installed, again at a competitive price. Amidst the fact that everything was done long distance from our home in Connecticut, we had 100% peace of mind with Complete coming in, doing the job and getting it done. Just recently, in a decision to get a smart thermostat installed, Allen spent a great deal of time going over the options with me. I could have easily purchased a Nest and installed it myself, but I opted to have Complete do it and teach me how to use the Honeywell system that they will be installing. This is not some thing where Complete has a big profit margin, and Allen‘s attention to educating me was just indicative of his concern and respect for the customer. I love the consistency of this company. I love the fact that from my very first phone call until the present, Kristen CONTINUES to take care of anything and everything and if she can’t do it, she will put me immediately in touch with someone who can. From the product knowledge to the technicians like Levi or Tim who are a professional, knowledgeable and just great people to the customer support, I would rate this company at the top of the line with GRATITUDE.

Second Review: A few days ago we learned that our air conditioning unit on our roof was rattling, so we called Complete Air from whom we bought the unit, to come out and investigate. I was able to reach them just as they were closing at 5 o’clock in the evening, but they promised to be out the next morning to take a look at it. They arrived bright and early, and fixed the unit promptly, which was actually the result of some belts becoming loose. When I received an envelope in the mail, I anticipated our bill for services, however, I received a check for $137.37. I called because I was confused and wanted to let them know about their mistake in paying me rather than billing me. I was told by Kristen, who has been answering the phone and helping me ever since we went to Complete nearly 10 years ago that there was no charge for the work that had been done the other day and that it was covered under warranty. She apologized for an oversight that was made when Complete had been out back in April for a routine service call when they had to replace a part and charged me. The check was to cover a warranty refund after realizing that we had inadvertently been charged for it by mistake. We would never have known the difference otherwise. There is no one comparable who can match Complete Air’s knowledge, excellence and honesty. Both my husband and I will continue to recommend this outstanding, local company without...

They came out and diagnosed that we had several leaks. The staff were very professional and knowledgeable. The reason for the score: They’re not cheap, but did great work explaining why they had to go through the attic which required more copper but worth it. They replaced the condenser coil and copper line. Everything ran nicely. (This would have been a 5 if there were no other things that happen) 1 week later, I noticed that the ac wasn’t working properly, but didn’t give it much thought because the weather wasn’t that bad. 2 weeks total, I called on a Sunday bc it was getting hot to have them come back, The technician tried to convince me to have his team come tomorrow so I wouldn’t be charged the service call if it was another issue. I told him that I’m pretty sure it’s their issue and told him Im willing to take that risk bc it was 79F in our house. Anyway, he came out and found the leak in the soldiering that was caused by his team. The leak was by the unit in the garage. He fixed it and I was satisfied. (This would have been a 4 bc sometimes things get missed) 3.5 months later, I went to change my air filter to discover that my filter was saturated in the ac fluid that was discovered when we found the pin hole leak. He never checked the filter to see if it was damaged. I don’t mind the high costs for quality work, but to find a saturated filter in ac fluid months later was poor attention to details. They do this everyday and as a homeowner, I shouldn’t have to check their work. (I debated giving this a 2, but the technician was such a nice person. They got a 3 bc of his niceness).

Imagine if I didn’t check or change my filter every three months. I would have had more problems due to a clogged filter that was saturated...

This review is really long overdue. Complete Air & Heat was recommended to me by someone 4 1/2 years ago. I'm so glad I called them. They initially serviced and repaired my A/C after initially moving into my condo; they were on-time, professional, explained everything to me in detail, and gave me options. Over time I have come to manage 9 properties including my own home and rental property. Complete Air & Heat has truly been superb in working with me to install, maintain, and repair systems at these various locations. They work with me on scheduling and are flexible with me and our tenants. They are always on time, and willing give me (or the tenant) a call ahead.

What really sealed the deal for them to be my go-to service provider for A/C was a few years ago when I sought to install a system in a garage. Out of the 4 estimates I got, they were the only ones to offer me the cheaper ductless option which has worked very well. I had to prompt the other 3 for that option and then they were still the best value.

Finally, I am a bit hesitant to mention names because I'm sure I will forget someone, but here goes....I have interacted with Kristen in the office, Garrett, Rob, Dave, Tim, Don, Levi, Bart, and Jeff (possibly others) and have been impressed with all of them. To a person, they are passionate about their work and customer service, always willing to educate me and show me where issues have arisen or may arise.

I will conclude by saying I've found it difficult to find solid, consistent service providers in the Space Coast area, but Complete Air & Heat has been an excellent find. I highly recommend them for anyone looking...
